Can you just imagine where we would all be if zos had staffing problems and had to shut down the servers while this was all going on? I mean it makes sense an IT company could go remote pretty easily but still.

Shout out to zos for keeping the lights on through this.

I mean it makes sense an IT company could go remote pretty easily but still.

My company did this a few weeks before the actual federal guidelines took place, and it is a bit of a challenge for the whole team to be remote. Thankfully with all the various source control tools and code-management software, it's not too bad. But productivity is obviously down some. So for them to only delay the release one week, given the circumstance, is actually pretty impressive.

As far as to your original question...the numbers don't lie. People are actively enjoying ESO a lot right now.

Delighted to be playing the game, without issues on PC EU and NA. If they have to close something could it be the forum instead of the game please? That would be quite an improvement. While some players' issues are entirely legitimate and need to be aired, the way they are being posted is fast becoming beyond tiresome.

I've been enjoying it greatly! Keeps me socially engaged - it's entertaining for hours. It gets really rocky even in 4 player dungeons when it's NA prime-time, but much better in NA mornings.

It's not just that. I would really hope folks do other things with their lives. I know ESO, like most MMOs, is deliberately designed to cultivate addiction, but still. Please have other things y'all like doing. :s

No. Terrible latency from my ISP (not ESO's fault), terrible delay from skills and basic attacks (ESO's fault). I'm literally just logging in for the event tickets and that's all.

Congrats to Zeni for creating the game and helping keep PvE players safe. Now a days it is dangerous just leaving your home. However, performance is threatening PvP players lives. I ( a pvp ) have a 99% higher chance to get stressed out and leave my home because of ESO. This puts me at high risk of getting the virus.

Yeah I'm skeptical. What are supposed to do instead? Watch TV? Drink? Roll around in the dirt? I don't get it.

Honestly I've barely been playing since all this started. My work has actually gotten busier and more erratic, even though I'm not travelling like I normally would. I've pretty much been logging in to collect event tickets and do crafting dailies and nothing else.

But seeing other people on social media talking about having nothing to do except sleep, eat and sit in front of the TV all day I've been very glad that I'm able to keep working from home and have a flat full of books, video games, board games and other activities. I suspect it would be a very long time before we ran out of things to do.

I've actually been playing more Skyrim as of late. It's nice every once in a while to have a game where the entire world stops when you hit pause. The FOMO that ESO invokes for me can get a bit stressful, and that' the last thing I need right now.

Sure. I'm still coming in and playing. Also got Skyrim up and running again too. Usually can focus on just one game but what with quarantine, I'm finding I need to branch out.

Nice. Skyrim just had an unbeatably serene & fantastical but also serious tone to it. Morrowind and oblivion too I'd say, but it hit a new level for me with skyrim. I've just played the intro too many times and I like to be able to team up with others. Nevertheless I still lament the fact that ESO isn't a little more rpg and a little less mmo (I know, I know, it is what it is).

I work in a warehouse so I get a level of exercise three days of the week for 13hr shifts, but my apartment complex closed our Gym too so I've lost my four days of 30min cardio and it's starting to drive me insane like I'm falling out of shape hard.

I feel ya. I have a bad back and without my 30 minutes per day of elliptical it's starting to flare up. Obviously I *really* do not want to deal with doctors for that right now. Trying to do some at home activities but it's just not the same.
