Just need to share a couple of "feel good" stories from the past couple of days. Share yours too if you like! ;-)
1. Running low on reagents usually sends me to Imperial City. I went there with my "no-good-for-PVP" petsorc to farm bosses in the streets. Dangerous when you are solo, not because of the bosses themselves, but because of people killing you. I brought Baron Thirsk into a house, to "stealth kill" him (yeah, right! LOL). When he was at really low health, I started to kite him, because the (yellow) flag was turning - and it became red (I'm EP), so I was like "Yay, down you go!" and I started to execute him. Suddenly - to my horror - there was an AD petsorc in the house too. Boss died, and I was getting ready to fight. But, he waved at me and I just popped an invis pot and hastily left. He then messaged me, and asked if we should kill more bosses and I was like "Hell yeah!". And we "Team Oranged" bosses for an hour or so, none of us getting killed.
2. Was doing crafting writs, and was whispered by a guy who asked what style my armor was. I told him it's a mix between Stormlords, Dremora, Scalecaller and Silken Ring. He/she was a new player, and asked if I had any motifs to sell. I was like "None of those, but you can have a few for free". I had like +30 different purple pages from boxes that I already knew, so I just spammed his/her inbox with all of it! He/she was completely blown away and seemed more happy than I thought possible from getting motifs sent to your inbox. "All I got is 12k, I will send it all to you!". I was like "No ffs., I don't want your 12k". ;-)
3. Farming for Ironblood 1H weapon, as Falkreath was a pledge. Started like 12, having no success at all. I ran it like 30 times SOLO (normal), on my StamDK - finding both chests every time, but no 1H whatsoever. I switched to my tank for Activity Finder, and called out for 1H at the start and end of each run (zero second wait time in queue on a tank!). Around 8 in the evening, a guy in group had a 1H sword from a chest, and he gave it to me right away - I was so happy. I even had a Powered dagger from the boss that run, but that's not important.
The guy who gave me the sword (absolutely awful DD btw! LOL) whispered me and asked if I could run Darkshade Cavern with him, he was looking for a Truth necklace. I was like "Surely, and thanks again!". I farmed Automaton weapons there long ago, so I knew all chest spawn locations - and on FIRST RUN, I had a Truth necklace from a Simple chest. I linked it it chat and he was like "HOORAY!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!".
It truly felt like some kind ZOS employee had chat surveillance duty, and put that necklace there, just to create this amazing story for me to remember. ;-)
Much of the time, I truly despise this game tbf. All the bugs and glitches, and (in my opinion) mindless and "not-so-good" changes to the game sometimes makes it hard to keep motivation up to keep playing. But when things like these happen, you easily forget about all that for a moment. I think I will remember theses people/moments long after this game is nothing but memories.

Yesterday a new person was asking about some aspects of the game in zone chat. Once it became clear that he was hoping for general guidance and not just "asking for a handout" the chat blossomed into a very generous tutorial about how to utilize the current event, and tips for leveling.
It was really nice to be able to be a part of something like that.Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis2
