Twitch drops

I have my account linked. so if I go and watch streamers. What happens if I get a drop. Will I know and where do I get it?

You can get one a day, it arrives on the following day. It does not always work. Make sure to to set your twitch account to show online. My account default is offline so each time I log on I need to set it to online.

As I said in the duplicate thread.

You know you got a drop when you get an email that says "Code Redemption" in the subject. Nothing in Twitch tells you that you got a drop.

I didn't read the duplicate thread, and now I can't find it, so I don't know if this has already been said, but you can tell in the game whether you've received a Twitch drop. Just go to any screen that shows the graphical menu bar at the top, and the second icon from the left-- immediately to the right of the Crown Store icon-- is the Crown Crates icon. If you have any crates available to open, there will be a circled exclamation mark at the bottom of that icon.

just noticed al the streamers have "drops activated", but I see no new or schedule on the suite about this drops. So whats with it?

I've watched multiple streamer for hours on the last 3 days and haven't received a single drop.
My account is linked.
I am logged in.

I know the crates aren't guaranteed, but the past twitch drop events, I got atleast 1 a day. This time, nothing in 3 days.

Under your Twitch account settings, does it say Online or Offline?

If it says Online, is Share My Activity checked or unchecked?

On your twitch account you also need to show yourself as online. It seems to show offline as a default. You need to select online each time you log on twitch, since doing that I have received a box each time.

You get an e-mail at the same time as the drops arrive in your account, then it's just a matter of calling Pacrooti out, via the hotkey/command (If on PC, press on ESC ingame, then select Keybinds-option to see what your assigned key is if in trouble) and your boxes will be there waiting for you

Yeah, I hate that about the Windows desktop version of Twitch.

The iOS version of Twitch remembers my settings, and starts up in Online mode like I want it to.

I haven't checked the macOS desktop version to see how it starts up.

I haven't gotten drops at all lately despite being linked and getting them in the past. I make sure I check i'm online and I've watched different streamers as well. Is no one else having this issue?

Sorry, that's what i meant by "logged in". I do that every time.

I just got my first 1 in 3 days since the Jubilee started, despite watching multiple streamers for hours everyday.
And yes, they are the "Partners" that state "drops enabled".

Try making sure you watch a drop-enabled channel for at least 15 minutes straight, rather than jumping around from channel to channel looking for the most interesting ones.

Also, most channels award "channel points" for watching-- 10 points every 5 minutes, and 50 extra points inside a chest icon every 15 minutes. I think subscribers might get double channel points. The 50-point chest icon will appear beside the field you type in to chat, and you must click on the chest to claim the extra 50 points.

I don't know whether these channel points have any bearing at all on earning ESO loot crates-- and I'm not trying to imply that they do-- but watching a channel long enough to claim 2 of the 50-point chests is a good way to know you've probably been watching long enough to qualify for an ESO loot crate. I say 2 chests, rather than 1, because sometimes a 50-point chest will pop up as soon as I start watching a channel; presumably I'd been watching that channel earlier but didn't claim the chest at that time. Watching until you get 2 of the 50-point chest ensures that you've been watching between 15 and 30 minutes.

I've got like 4 through the last two events that's just been here, and by mainly watching one streamer.

I usually just watch one streamer and they say drops enabled under, but noticed even after hours of watching I wasn't getting anything anymore. So I went and watched some new people thinking maybe that was it too. Still nothing so I decided to un-link and re-link today in case that was a problem.

We shall see if that works!

Yeah, I don't know why the accounts can get unlinked sometimes. Something on Twitch's end? Or something on ZOS's end?

Some streamers bot messages saying that you should not mute the stream, but if you have to mute, turn the sound off on the browser tab instead.
I was told that this had changed recently and no longer works, but I haven't seen any streamer mention that yet.

Twitch drops from ESO take 24 hours to go through. You sure it's not just that?

Yea I'm pretty sure it's not that because it's been several days since the start of drops being back on and i've watched one or more stream everyday. No emails and nothing on my account like usual. Prior to this event drops were turned on a few times but hadn't gotten anything from those streams either. My last drop was 3/15.

Just trying to figure out whats wrong on my end, but I did notice in a stream today a couple others mentioned drops not coming.

Sometimes drops take as little as a couple of hours, depending on what time of day or night you're watching and what time the redemption codes are processed. But normally, yes, if you watch on Thursday then you don't get the drop until Friday, and so on. I've no idea what time the rollover from one day to the next is as far as earning a drop.

I'm wondering if it only counts if you watch during a certain time period, because I watched for a few hours yesterday evening and last night but got no crate this morning for it.
