I just created a necro to be my healer, already have sanctuary and worms raiment for him. But alot of people are saying I should scrap it and make a templar healer or warden because necro arent the best as healers. Should I make
the switch or stick with the necro? They have decent burst heal and heal over time with corpses on the ground. But never had a templar and only have a warden tank. Any suggestions?

Magcro is fine. Are you doing PvE dungeons, trials or pvp?
Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten

    To heal them all

I've healed quite a few endgame trials on a necro healer. They're really fun to play.

Wow... they are amazing healers in pvp if built right.

And as far as PVE they are good and will be adequate for sure.

From my experience necro healers are adequate. They do good thru dungeons and most pve. But once you get into vet trials they struggle. I main a templar healer and it's my preferred. Not saying they cant make it thru everything. The res ulti is amazing help for progression groups.

I have had some fun on a necro healer personally, at least in PvP. I think they are very strong, probably the third best healing class but just my opinion.

Render Flesh is a really strong heal, it applies minor defile on you but honestly with curative curse passive it evens out. This has saved my butt in PvP a ton and also others.

Expunge- This is a good self purge, for group I'd use the purge in the alliance skill line's purge but the necro purge is actually really good. Either morph can work but I use the one that purge more effects cause you usually have a few on you. The health it costs is EASILY made up.

Renewing Undeath- Strong heal, especially with corpses and in both PvE and PvP you'll find plenty along with the ones you drop. I choose this morph cause I also use Braided Tether but the other morph is good too

Braided Tether- A really good heal over time, maybe even underrated. You'll find plenty of corpses to keep this up and it's easier now with the corpse changes.

In terms of the Ghost I use the one that reduces damage since the other morph can be unreliable but if you like it then go with it. The rez ult can also save the day in both PvE and PvP.

Honestly, Necro healers are fine. The only time you MIGHT get crap about having one is hardcore leaderboard chasing end game. I didn't play one in PvE very long but when I did it performed fine in dungeons, even saved a few wipe scenarios cause of the rez ult. In PvP I tend to still play one and it can cause enemy players headaches and I love it.

People be talking weird stuff and daunting players.
I was in your shoes a few weeks ago.

But so far I made 6 healers of all classes and healed veteran dungeons including dlc and hms, and trials just fine.

It is all up in your rotation and skills.

Just bring lots of synergies and orbs, dont miss the heals, bring whatever passives of your class useful to them.

Oh and I also saw a Templar healer who be just standing there and spamming breath of life.

I also saw a Warden healer using Robes of transmutation.................................... * speechless *

In one of my topics, the girl who was in World record score, commented about her experience. I also saw her videos, she is on a Sorc healer.

So yeah, you can do what your skills can do.

This was an older video back when IA was a thing, and the skill setup is pretty much the same. I flex out skills based on the fight and depending on what the other healer is running. Nowadays, usually the warden will run olo, so you could run worm paired with something else, like martial knowledge if you're comfortable with dodge rolling/bash weaving, etc. This wasn't a super serious, score run or anything.

Necro healer was my go to on my main account. Gels well in a trial group with a templar healer. I enjoyed it and did quit well. Multi rez is also a game saver.
