What new Skill line do you want to see for next chapter(2022)?

Well given there is many things players would like to see.
Since I see this thread is back up to the forefront, updated the year from 2021 to 2022.
I would like to see Werebears and Wereboars.
Others want a guild that is more like the Skyrim Dawnguard a guild that requires you not to be a vampire or werewolf or both.
There are those that want several new weapon types.
So this poll includes those options.
What do you want to see?
This year might be disappointing to many of you. The Melee and Spell Rune or Melee and Spell skill line wasn't even done.
We got the Vampire/Werewolf overhauls and reworks and a new Minigame system that is more like a mobile game that has two new skill lines for.
Pros I think they put a lot work into the Skyrim Chapter. Pros the vampire rework and the werewolf rework.
Cons many of the things players do want to see have not been done or included.
So for next year what do you want to see added from the list of poll options?

    Fixing the game performance should be priority but I 100% want a melee magic skill line so swords axes maces bows light attacks scale with magic.

    dawnguard / stendarr or crossbow skill line would all be really cool (but i dont know how much the crossover to templar / fighters guild would be...

    wearbear as a tanking transformation skill line could be cool too...but imo what would have done is given a wearbear tank transformation to the warden (instead of necro) and instead given the persistent pet from the warden to the necro...that would make a lot more sense

    another one i would be advocating for would be a bard skill line...sure a bard class is maybe also on the table but the bards college is a guild and all guilds so far have been implemented as skill lines so...

    I voted other because I believe that the next skill line must be a new Magica weapon skill line. I have explained why many times now, in summary:

    Stamina has: 2H, Duel wield, Sword n Board, Bow. Within these the variety of weapons available are swords, aces, maces, daggers and of course bows.

    Magica has: Staffs. Reso staff. And Destro staff has fire, shock and frost, of which only fire and shock are viable for dps, outside of a few niche builds.

    So stamina has 4 skill lines with 5 weapons to choose from. Magica has really has ONE skill line (destro), with a couple of types of the same weapon.

    The disparity is stark and glaring. Magica needs a new skill line to wield magic. The foremost ideas to achieve these include some form of single handed weapon, which could be duel wielded - Runes, Tomes (books), Scrolls, open hand, a different option for each hand, each type of weapon conferring different potential bonuses just like stamina weapons do.

    (I do not feel that melee and magic fulfills the requirement for a new magica line to redress the imbalance).

    Make it happen ZOS.

    I was referring to 2021 yes and I should have thought about that since the Greymoor chapter hasn't been released yet. I edited the title to have the 2021 reference so people would know that is the chapter I'm talking about. Its not Greymoor but the possible Cyrodiil chapter I'm suspecting will come next year or some other location besides that. We won't know till its revealed.

    Conjured weapon skill line, for magicka melee options.

    New weapons (crossbow, spear) can be implemented into existing ones with passive adjustment (like destruction staff)

    First aid (or call it whatever is more lore friendly) skill line for stamina based healing. Mostly melee to mid range.

    Stabbing animation for daggers light attacks, it's annoying to see u swinging daggers like a maul.

    how about something completely whimsical and useless yet fun like darts since you can't please 100% of the people all the time why not honk off the elitists and nay sayers since they need something to seethe about while everyone else has their spirits lifted and it will give the grumps something to complain over seeing as that's the closest thing to joy they have.

    this is my hope for the upcoming artifact mini games I happen to love bejeweled and mine sweeper so :p to those who poo poo it

    Honestly, I would like 2 things in this game to hold my interest;

    1. Veteran overland mode.

    2. More meaningful crafting / profession skills.

    I don´t play MMOs outside ESO, so I was kinda psyched for fishing when the game came out, figuring it would be meaningful role-play. Instead, it is really only pokemon collect-em-all. Really, it is a bit degrading.

    Now TES was developed as a dungeon crawler and not a deep role-playing experience, but I think it is worth pointing out that the 'more immersive' stuff like survival mods, food / drink RPG mods, and 'mundane crafting' mods are among the most popular for a game like Skyrim.

    I mean, I would just like to immerse myself in a more dangerous world, really.

    Oh yeah, melee magicka would be good, too.

    Manifest yourself as pure lightning, increasing your inventory by 30 for 300 seconds. While in this form you also gain Major Resolve, increasing your Physical Resistance and Spell Resistance by 5280.

    *The abilities don't have morphs and there are no passives since it's powerful enough as it is! B)

    If you didn't get what I meant, I mean that ZOS needs to fix the game performance & combat balance first before adding new skill lines or classes.

    A magicka weapon skilline that is not a staff. Can be a conjured weapon, a normal 1h weapon with a bare hand for casting, or some invisible weapon for a non-weapon look casting.


    Unarmed. Could be both magicka or stamina!

    Spears/polearms/staff stamina skilline.

    A vigilants of the Divines or somesuch skilline, for those who are not a vampire/werewolf. Just not Dawnguard.

    Either of those would be nice to see.

    Crossbow and wereboar/bear could just be cosmetic looks to the bow and were skilline.

    I know, this wasn't added on the OP but come on, I cannot be the only one who wants to do magic with their hands, maybe with the sheated sword, something like that.

    We NEED this ASAP. It's part of the original TES games and I think it cannot be that difficult to implement, given that Shield + Weapon is a thing that already exists. Maybe Weapon + Grimoire? Weapon + Focus?

    Never thought about this, but it seems to be fun. Because it would make you have to choose. It would have some impact on your character, unlike the other guilds.

    Probably including a new PVP option where Dawnguard members fight against vampire and werewolf players?

    Dawnguard: I feel is already covered in Fighter's Guild unless there's skills they can do that I'm not familiar with.

    Spears: I hope they add a Melee Staff skill line and Spears tips are one option along with blunt and blade, similar to how they do Swords, Mauls, and Axes with two-handed.

    Hand-to-hand: I talked about this in several posts, but I hope this is a world skill instead of a weapon skill so you could use them in combination with weapons. They could include acrobatic flips and bonuses to fighting unarmed and unarmored.

    Crossbows: I think they should just be an alternative to Bows, but share the same skill line.

    Spells: I think Spell Crafting would be a nice Crafting Skill Line, allowing players to Scrolls with unmorphed class skills.
