Seems nobody mentioned on this forum yet(search gave no result), but falmers confirmed. Very happy they will be in the game, maybe will be DLC dungeon with them later this year.

That armor looks wrong, like a skilled Blacksmith made it.

Falmer are Blind and cobble together armor from Chitin not Metal.

I read a quote somewhere “a vampire lord and his monsters” I thought that meant the undead hounds and similar vampires, what if it actually meant the Falmer? They’re certainly monsters and it would explain the armour.

If the Falmer are the descendants of Snow Elves who were driven underground, they would almost certainly be descended from skilled craftsmen (craftsmer?), so it doesn't seem so far-fetched to me that they might have some nice armor. How much time is there between ESO and TES5:Skyrim? Perhaps their knowledge of, and skill in, blacksmithing degenerated a bit over the years, or their available materials changed, or their preferred materials changed?

Looks incredible.
So glad they're including Falmer. It wouldn't be right to leave them out when they were such a big part of the Blackreach story in Skyrim.

The Falmer are blinded because of the Dwemer, they fled to escape the Atmorans who were started to win their battles, and the Dwarves decided to drug them into slavery, destroying their culture. There's not meant to be a SnowElf culture among their species anymore.

It's not a falmer. He's probably a Blood Scion or something like that, much like the player. If you look closely he has blood scion features. The cloth, the skin color.

Looks like a falmer thats been turned into a blood scion. Its was probably fitted with armor as it may be in service to a vampiric master

At the screenshot below is a Blood Scion NPC, he act like werewolf NPC, you can see him in action at this video.

Im pretty sure this is what the form is going to look like on release, right? It looks WAY better and cooler than our form, despite being the same thing....

I remember the snowelf we met in TESV saying something about the falmer were cursed and been slowly devolving for several centuries, and only recently (50-100 years) had started showing some advances in creating a primitive culture. So it's possible that the falmer we meet in Greymore maybe more advanced then the ones in TESV.

This is true. It's chitin from Chaurus' but from what we have seen in Skyrim they can make the armor look pretty similar. Like the Warmonger in the Forgotten Vale. Plus this is only the second era. They are certainly deformed by now and driven into insanity, as the top picture seems to show. However they could also still possess some knowledge that their former selves, the Snow Elves, once had.

Honestly though, the Falmer in the top picture doesn't look to be wearing anything metal... just chitin armor from their own pets that were made to look sharp and metal-like.

On closer look the second one-- the one that looks like an alien, facing off against the non-alien-looking lady with a sword-- definitely isn't a Falmer, and the first one is clearly a Falmer wearing chitin armor.

I'm definitely looking forward to May 18!

Probably the Dwemer. Because I have a horrible feeling that Greymoor is going to spectacularly *** stuff up with Falmer and/or Dwemer lore.
