How overloaded is it? Should i be concerned?

As a magblade main watching zos give the only class identity i have left away, why should i stay?

Well from what I know it might be a sprint version of invisibility. Basically like how that vampire started running in the trailer to then turn into bats and fly away only this turns you invisible while you sprint. It would be very useful for escaping but being at stage four will mean having a higher cost to increase to all non vampire abilties.

About time, fed up with NBs trying to gank me, fail and cloak away

Well since its going to cost stamina and Vampires are magic based, most will have 10k stam at most and will run out sooner than a MagBlade spamming cloak with 25-30k Magic

Also you need to be sprinting for X amount of time so will take a few seconds before you vanish

Basically they get a passive that if they run for X amount of seconds they become invisible. Its a constant effect that lasts as long as they have stamina to keep on running. If they stop running for a fraction of a second they lose invisibility.

The counters to this is obviously stun or immobilize them before the cloak happens, apply DOTs to them, and any other anti-cloak countermeasures. There is also the fact they must stop running if they wish to actually attack or do anything useful. So its not like the cloak when they can initiate a sneak attack, but they do get a damage boost when leaving invisibility thanks to another passive.

But you can go from sprint directly into crouch so as an escape tool wouldnt it just be a faster/more efficient way to achieve the same thing? I mean the counters are exactly the same. Only difference is vampires wont have to worry about getting chased down by spin to wins because theyll out run it.

And with the damage increase this basically opens up any class with enough stamina to ganking. Run and gun ganking. Bombers dont have to sneak now theyll sprint. I get that there are limitations, but start from a clear enough distance it wont mean much. As an escape tool, immoveable pots and RAT will accomplish the same thing. Hell as a nightblade you often end up using those anyway.

Its like what they did with nightblade fear all over again. Gave it to everybody, and then made it superior to the class version.

Seriously, whats the point of the class anymore? Do we have anything left that wasnt given to literally everybody else?

There are calls for reworking the class now, which at this point how can you not? But what would be the point, it would have to be so different it may as well be another class or they would hyper buff them so that we can act like kings for a month or too only to be nerfed through the floor the next.

Im reserving my ire for when we know more but so far it seems like zos just doesnt care about nightblades. Vamps already had mistform, i do not see why they need cloak too.

It won't surpass DoTs so it's far from cloak. And since it requires sprint to proc it also won't be as reliable as cloak because you'll have take break and do nothing other then sprint to reenter invisibility.

If you’re playing nb you’re already usually a vampy, so there is no issue.

In fact being a vampy has always paired insanely well with a magblade, now even more so....

Its a good pairing yes, but something tells me youll now be able to do all the samethings better on at least 2 other classes.

Well. . . I guess its wait and see, but im not liking the potential ramifications.

Edit: and im definitely not liking literally everyone having access to a form of invisibility.

Now your cloak, which btw, is broken atm, is being given to every1 just like your mass hysteria :)

If they alrdy perform better than NBs on open combat(out of stealth action), now they'll also be able to get away from fights or approach them as good as NBs.

The last bit of class identity u had b4 is being taken away from you.
