Do you seriously expect people to buy an overpriced chapter for a game currently beyond broken?

The games a total cluster *** right now , especially on console yet you are releasing a chapter adding more strain on the server which will no doubt be bug filled and broken once live.

Shut the game down and fix it correctly.

Hey! That overpriced Chapter is coming with TWO mobile phone minigames and a polymorph! Get hyped.

For real, if they need to shut down the game for a month to get a stable game I would highly recommend it.

Not over priced for me. I already bought it. You think it is to expensive, don't buy it. Simple as that.

I think the answer to the question in the subject line is quite obviously: yes, they do expect it.

Furthermore, I think that deep down you know that they are right. For all the threats people make about quitting, or all the complaints about the game "dying" we all know that enough of us are going to buy the chapter for it to be profitable and the cycle will continue.

He is probably one of those people who thinks the mighty Amazon are going to save the day..

I'm sure they won't release an overhyped grind fest of an MMO that fleeces every penny out of it's player base..

    Perish the thought...

The people who only play for the story will come back to buy it and play since its new elder scrolls content. And the casual players and RPers dont care about performance so they will to. But ya for the rest of us its an insult to our intelligence to keep shitting out content without fixing issues and bugs that have been plaguing the game for well over 3 years.

But zos always likes to try and pin end game players down with this ***, like new classes and skill lines that are very good for you to have, so im guessing the antiquities system will have some very strong gear for pvp/pve.

They always go up 10+ dollars/euro's, whats next? next DLC will be 50, then 60, then 70. I don't say I can't afford it but they need to calm down with these prices, not everyone is bill gates. If you really want to stream good income, fix the servers ping and see how it skyrockets Zenimax.

Game performance is awful.. but have you tried heavy attacking? They sunk plenty of time into changing them so you wont need to mash your skills so many times to get them to work XD

This a choice everyone needs to make. I feel the games value still warrants buying the expansion. I'm big on supporting games you play and I'm glad to support ESO's development.

I usually wait a few months before I get the game/expansion I'm looking at getting. It gives me enough time to assess if the content is worth the money, and sometimes there are also sales. I was looking forward to Greymoor, despite not agreeing with some of the proposed and upcoming changes. Bad gameplay balance, I can endure. Terrible mini-games, I can ignore. However, what I can't ignore or endure is horrid performance. Insane lags and random disconnects are just not acceptable. My ESO+ runs out this May, just about when Greymoor lands. If the performance hasn't improved by then, I see no reason to renew that, let alone plan towards getting the new chapter.
    Lesson #1: Red means dead.

I bought Morrowind (It has just come out when I started). I Pre-ordered Summerset. I pre-ordered Elsweyr. Heck I pre-ordered Greymoor day ONE it was available.

I ALSO got a refund for Greymoor (and spent the money on Shark Cards!). The game is broken. ZOS doesn’t seem to care. I don’t mind paying to play. AT ALL. I can’t see paying at this point.

Skyrim (even Solitude) and Vampires ain’t enough. I’m playing out the last days of ESO + and I don’t foresee renewing that.

Far as I've seen, they've all been 39.99 (for the basic digital upgrade), so I'm not sure where this "they keep going up" thing comes from.

(for the record, the only one I've bought was the Summerset pre-order w/free Morrowind.)

I'm not buying it at all. I'll wait until I get it as a DLC with my sub. I'm not buying it because I really have no interest in 2nd era Skyrim, and I have even less interest in Reachmen, Blackreach or vampires. Just ugh.

For many people the game isn't broken (yet?) so they are good to go.
Besides, we might think it's poor timing but ZOS was probably finishing Greymoor early last year so there's no point not releasing it. They can't possibly (?) duct tape together a whole expansion in a few months.

Sub end in 30 day, New wold is coming, I don't think this game is gonna be a blast, but if perf stay like this I'll come back to teso only for friend and not buy anything anymore and focus my time on New world.
A total new game for the price of 1 chapter with no dlc or sub requirement ; easy choice.

I don't get people who complain about 3 year but somehow still pay sub, chapter and crown, it's just beyond me.
They blame RPer, casual and so, bu funny enough, all these "angry end-game player" are gonna be the 1st to buy chapter for still be in meta and trying to rush useless number scoring across horrible performance.
I'm sorry, but these "casual" are smarter, they play time to time and are way less affected by perf, ofc they'll buy it.
The question is, why end-game player still buy anything ? I'm one myself and I've no problem to stop buying thing, I'm not addicted.
I play since 1 year, it was good fun, but atm it's just not enjoyable and most content + end game content is done, so I go try an other game, simple.

Honest question here ; why do you need 2 account on a game like this ?
(I mean there is nothing related to be more rich or so with multi account like it is on Archeage with labor for exemple).
