It's the final battle of the hemidemisemifinals as BLESSED CRUCIBLE challenges the CRYPT OF HEARTS! Will the Crypt add one more tortured soul to the ranks of its catacombs? Or will the Crucible become the one true gladatorial champion? YOU DECIDE!

A list of the overall action for BOTH the base and DLC competitions can be found HERE, so people can get a quick glance at the overall action.

All fights will go for TWO DAYS and end at 8PM CST (or your timezone equivalent; figure it out) so this one will end on Monday, March 30th.

Crypt of Hearts I

Blessed Crucible is one of the worst standard dungeons. On a level with Volenfel . No loot worth collecting, few challenging boss fights.. the Grand Melee isn’t as grand as the dwarven army of automata in DC2. Although I do like Incineration Beetles (more for the build up than the reality tbh) and I’ve had at least one absolutely awesome final boss fight with the lava queen (what seemed like a total wipeout turned into a rolling res-fest and ultimate victory).

CoH is short and sweet and who hasn’t spent hours in there farming Ebon? Lovely dungeon.

CoH2 is a boss too long, has annoying ‘fear you into the scenery ‘ mechanics and, like all version 2 dungeons, has a crazy arse HM condition that many players seem to find hard to get into their heads, and where success (or not) in meeting the condition is never communicated.

As is appropriate for a dungeon set in Rivenspire, CoH has one of the best stories of any dungeon.

And the CoH 1 bosses are pretty good. A step up in difficulty from the easiest dungeons while one's learning, but nothing one can't handle with a little attention.

Personally, City of Ash 2 (vet)

It’s one of my favorite dungeons and was amongst the first dungeons I ran. It’s also the first dungeon I soloed, alllllll the way back I’m pretty sure in the Imperial City patch.

But I vote Blessed Crucible because troll king....

Crypt of Hearts II

Crypt of hearts is iconic to the elder scrolls series and has been featured in arena and shadowkey, which eso's coh ties into. Esp with shadowkey where the star teeth are present. Coh also gave us lore on who the person was that banished the ebony blade. Blessed crucible barely contributes to lore in comparison and is too easy, which might appeal for casuals. Crypt of hearts has my vote

Blessed Crucible

Blessed crucible has a really cool theme imo. I like the idea of the grand melee and the mosh pit where you fight all the gladiators even if the dungeon doesn’t really offer any unique or challenging mechanics.
