At this point in ESO's lifetime, it has gone many, MANY changes...some bad, some less bad but a question to think about is what can ZOS even do at this point regarding this divide? This APM topic is clearly booming right now bc there's a clear community split about weaving/AC and it's "necessity". It's a very hard thing to fix considering of the veteran players who basically have this down to muscle memory and the newer audience that has come to this game, not to mention the fact that there is an older player base who probably can't even do these things bc of actual physical capabilities. Honestly, the whole concept of AC and weaving was handled very oddly in the official's eyes by just barely acknowledging its existence and then making DLC vContent noticeably harder and then now "fixing" it with these sustain changes. Right now, this whole game balancing issue seems like it's trying to please both parties and it's clearly not working and honestly, in my opinion, I'd rather have the changes benefit the casuals. I'll adapt.

The thing is everyone will adapt. Nobody really remembers how pissed they were before the last patch notes and the patch notes before that. I won’t be playing the game until I see on this forum booming with posts on how good performance is which probably is never going to happen at his stage.

It's because weaving never should have have been in the game. I'm personally not against it but if you look at it from conception it was always something ZoS called "unintended" but said they liked and decided to leave in (meaning the fix cost $$$ and probably a lot). The problem with leaving it is is exactly the problem we have now. It's a system that is now necessary due to how people use it but the game doesnt teach you it in anyway and the player skill gap keeps increasing because of it.
