I know it's a very small thing and far not as important as many other things, but I think it would be great if we have race specific login screens. The reds all have a snowy background even if they are not nord, but dark elves or argonians. Blues has the desert background while it's mostly the redguard's biome. Could we have race related background please?

Yes, I know, it's obvious. But if they choose to create only one picture per faction, they should choose the capital's landscape, which is not in the desert for Daggerfall.

ForfiniteStories✭✭✭Agreed. It would be nice seeing something else other than the same three backgrounds. It's also jarring seeing my characters in backgrounds that are in contrast to their character.
While I do support the idea of racial-based character screens, I would also like to see faction-based character screens. For example, I have a Dark Elf character in the Thieves Guild and a Dark Elf character in the Dark Brotherhood. While having a Dark Elf theme background would still be an improvement, I personally feel some characters would best be represented by their faction.
And yes, I do like to stare at my characters for a moment. Without them, and a sense of identity, I'm sure people would have a lot less fun playing the game.I know it's a very small thing and far not as important as many other things
It's a Themepark MMO. What exactly is important? These "very small things" are quite literally what make these games what they are.

✭✭I don't know why we can't log from one character to another directly without having to go to the log out and log in.
I don't expect it to be instantaneous, I completely understand that the server has to save the first and initiate the 2nd, but it should be accessible from a menu inside the current character.The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.0 -

No we cannot.
Because
1-If that was the case we would never GET these small things
2-Not every issue needs every team

Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis2 -

✭✭✭✭✭As far as I’m aware, we are getting a new character select screen: Greymoor for everyone.
I suspect this was due at least partially because of the introduction of alliance tokens, to eliminate a potential issue with toons that have changed factions. I’m thinking it might be similar to transmutation, where the item transmuted retains its ID and therefore original trait for certain purposes, such as research, while its new trait overwrites the old in combat. Perhaps alliance changes are done differently, though.
We’ll have to see if eliminating a potential bug is worth the uniformity of every toon having the same background. I suppose that will be up to personal taste.0
