Didn't get Stupendous Gift Box

I started this event on a character that had never done the Jester's Festival before. I did the introduction quest where you go up to the Jester King/Queen for the first time and got a regular purple box. Then I did the pig rescue quest, and got another purple box. I got my event tickets, but no Stupendous Box.

The article for the event says: "the first time you complete each quest each day, you are rewarded a Stupendous Gift Box instead of the regular reward."

Did you already do the event on another character? It says the stupendous drops are from doing each quest once a day but you can do them after that on on other toons for regular boxes.

OK, here's the weirdest part: I just switched servers, and got two Stupendous Boxes on the EU server, but none on the NA server. Something weird is going on.

No, it was the very first character that I used for the day.

Same for me. I play in EU and I didn't get the box.

The cake is for Anniversary which starts next week when Jester's end, so that checks out. For this one you need The Pie of Misrule, found in the memento tab under T the 'the' (my inner archivist shudders at this).

But I didn't get the stupenduous box either, though the post says I should.

Edit: PC/EU in case that's important.

An update: Just did another quest on the NA server, and I got a Stupendous Box this time.
They're dropping, just not necessarily the first time you do the quests, which is what the article said. Basically, the article was wrong and they seem to be random (at least for me).
*Edit* Or maybe it was just a glitch, because now I'm not getting any at all again. Sigh.
