Tip for players with regular high ping

Hello,

Asian player here playing on EU servers, as you can imagine I play with a regularly high ping: 300-350+
This affect the game and everything becomes clunky especially in pvp.

Yesterday I tried a gaming VPN, in my case it really improved the quality of the connection, I was playing with something like 210 ping, so a huge improvement and I could definitely feel it (and get more kills than average ). The one I tried had a trial period, so if you have the same issues as me you can try it before.

This will probably not solve the servers issues when they are overloaded but it is still an improvement.

It is actually a thing i should consider, thanks for the reminding. Also, great job for the positive thread in those dark dark chaotic times.

Try this, go to command prompt put in or copy and paste in ipconfig /flushdns and hit enter. See if that helps after doing that the game seems far more responsive. It could be that the port forwarding plus doing that helped but I wonder if ipconfig /flushdns could fix a bulk of the issues with high ping. It won't fix the lag I think but maybe make things more responsive.

I wish gaming VPNs could help with satellite ping in the US.... Nope. Not hap'nin'....
