Best Monster Set for Tanks?

Well I need a Monster set which increases my sustain. It would be great if there was one that reduces the cost of my abilities by 20%. Even including ultimates maybe? Ofc with that big of a bonus should come with a downside. How aboout a huge damage loss? I mean something like losing 500 spell/weapon damage maybe. No problem for a Tank at all.

Nope I guess that would be op.

Well Bloodspawn can help you earn Ultimate. Engine Guardian is an interesting set some people use to get resources back but it’s more common in PvP.

I keep Lord Warden, Mighty Chudan, Thurvokuun, and Bloodspawn in my tank’s inventory at all time.

Mm-m, not sure if there is such a set. But if such set was to appear, it might come with other game changes - say, changes that will have you spam a bunch of light attacks where you'd otherwise do a single heavy as a tank. ^^

OP was taking shots at the rework of Molag Kena in new pts patch notes, lol.

Actually Kena might be a viable tank set with those changes. I certainly don't care about a damage reduction while I'm tanking set and the cost reduction would be good for resource management. I'm certainly not going to use it on a DPS.

I did zero math. I use Stonekeeper already and I love it. However I expect a 20% cost reduction to be much better than any other resource restore in this game. And even if you don't need any more sustain, if Molag Kena actually reduces Ultimate costs, it's gonna be BiS on tanks no matter what.

Good point, Kena will almost certainly be stronger than Stonekeeper on account of that - especially if it also reduces block cost?

Edit: never mind what I said about other pvp sustain sets, I forgot about the damage de-buff on Kena
