Gamepad on PC ( Xbox controller for windows )

Dear readers, ever since I switched from PS4 to PC around 2 to 2.5 years ago (because on PC this game is at least playable) I found out that due to my chronic illness I couldn't play with keyboard and mouse so well. So I bought an Xbox controller for windows because the ps4 controller is not supported for whatever reason. Now there are a lot of bugs I have to report that I only experience when using the controller. Like not being able to port from shrine to shrine, not being able to improve items (unless I restart the game completely 0-0 )
A first I have the problem that I cannot improve jewelry most of the time... but I just crafted a few blank jewels so how is that possible? I had them in my inventory, everything was right except the fact I couldn't improve them.It didn't show up. This is 50/50 chance on this bug.

This image shows a screen popup for whatever reason. I just got in a dungeon with a group and I see that. Most of the time I get that while fighting or killing stuff (ESPECIALLY IN VMA!!! but then a much bigger screen I have to find a group.... my mind is blown by this) and it's pretty damn annoying. I have to reload UI for the screen not to pop up every time I kill something. So you can see my agony when in vMA killing stuff and I get that screen every time something dies. I have to press ESC and ESC again if I want the screen to go away or to see something. So reload UI again, time RIP. Restart the arena... OH NO I can't because I didn't pick up the quest at the beginning because the gold you get at the end is to cry for...I just walk in like any (in) sane person does.
And there is the fact I cannot change character with my controller.
The look sensitivity is to cry for, with a mouse you just turn around and back again. With a controller, you put the sensitivity way up to the top and still takes around a second to turn. So for pvp it's a useless piece of garbage. But then I get back at the fact I cannot play with the keyboard and mouse. So console sucks I will never go there again. I switched to PC for stability etc. But this makes it pretty damn annoying to play. Please look in to it. I tried a lot of different settings. I played without addons, I dropped the video settings to the first doom graphics so like Minecraft. Nothing helps. This is just something that needs to be fixed if you ask me. I did several tickets in the past and nothing ever happened. It's bin a few years since I started playing on PC so I think it's time this changes. Welcome to gamepad mode... I also play with a controller, and while I'm very grateful we have that option, since I can't play with m/k, there's a lot to be desired, unfortunately. That screen in particular is really distruptive, as well as its companion, the 'empty group' screen. I just press P on the my keyboard, in order to go to the group screen, and that seems to remove them, but it still annoying, especially during combat. Camera sensitivity is what it is, even when it's maxed out in game settings... I've read about using mapping programs to increase is, but I haven't looked into it, since I don't use mapping software. It'd be great if sensitivity were the same as m/k, but I don't see this happening, tbh.

The sensitivity probably not, but if it can be improved I would be delighted. Of course, after this thread, I went into vMA and I did make a screenshot for ZOS to see what is happening. Maintain our hopes :P
All I really want to see improved is the useless unasked for popup screens and be able to use the controller in character selection. The jewelry improvement is a bug because the game freezes when I leave the jewelry station. I need to restart the game all over.

To get back on the subject on the Dungeon Difficulty popup. You can see it in my Bandit group screen. Someone else is the group leader. I'm the one with the green name, group leader yellow with the crown. And I supposed to be in charge of the dungeon difficulty :P so that doesn't make sense at all

You might want to check your addons because I use an xbox controller and don't have any of those problems.

Also, I doubt if we will ever be able to use the controller in character creation.

I get back at what I said about all having it without addons. That isn't anymore. At first, I started to use addons because of this issue. Now I don't get it anymore when addons are off. And I immediately got my Flawless today because of it. So at the moment, the issue of the screen is an addon. Wich one I don't know yet. Will find out and post it here

Very strange, I have never seen that dungeon difficulty pop up and I'm using an xbone controller aswell

I thought with addons off I lost it, but it still happens. In the meanwhile, I cleared my PC several times reinstalled the game a few times past months. It still happens. This is my life now
