is there a way to make a chest sharable?

I have set up my home with the banker and the merchant so my siblings can hang out and use them. My bro says its too bad he cant put his storage box there. but maybe he can? Or is there a way to make a chest work the way the banker does so when I open it its my stuff and when he opens it its his stuff?

Nope. Neither of those things are possible.

It may be that they didn't code it to exclude someone if they didn't buy the storage container yet. So the easy solution is to just disallow.

that's an interesting idea almost like that ender chest in minecraft right.

I also would like for people to be able to access their own items from the housing storage at my house
I mean the boxes are already universal storage across your own houses in the exact same way.

The only drawback to that is you would both need the exact same box at both points to
make use of it and there are 8 different boxes atm
