Is it just me or is seeing "dodge" the most infuritating thing ever known to man?

I just can't stay cool anymore. I'm angrier than ever whenever I see the word "dodge" appear on the screen. Maybe because lately it's so frustrating trying to kill anyone due to the tank meta and it's killing the very last bit of joy left. You need to work on your burst so damn precisely and then you need to start all over, and possibly spend another 5 minutes fighting an endless fight...
It's especially infuriating whenever i play my NBs. On other classes I can take it in. But it doesn't exactly make me enjoy the game.
Am I the only one?

It used to be much worse when passive dodging was a thing.5 -
LuxiasCaelum13✭✭✭I find it frustrating sometimes too, but i don't think the problem is dodge roll as much as it is the tank meta.
Dodge roll could be fixed easily by adjusting iframes a little bit more, because what it really is actually dumb is to see people dodging even when the roll animation has finished.
But still, they should address how tanking works in pvp asap. They don't even need to nerf heavy armor or blocking, they only have to reduce the damage tanks do. Maybe by reducing the damage done while wearing five pieces of heavy, or dealing less damage the more mitigation you have...(of course, that should only work in pvp, in pve things are fine, imo).Don't make me say the same thing twice. ✭Game was better when everyone was running squishy medium builds and using roll as their defence. Was more fun as it was a high burst fast paced meta.Overload rework. Power Overload now does physical damage and grants you the power of a tornado: You throw a brick at the target with a light attack, and you hammer your head into that brick with every heavy attack. We have decreased its Ultimate cost, but increased the chance that you get stuck in the animation.1 -

✭✭I'm pretty sure the op is talking about the little Muhammad Ali-esque bob and weave animation the character will sometimes do, and not rodge roll. It rarely seems to happen to me, but the animation is funny. XD1 -

No, I want dodge in the game. I'm only saying it's really making me feel angry because of all the other factors make it much much worse than it should be. I've been playing since the start of the game. Hell yeah, someone mentioned the removal of passive dodge but I swear it seems like more than half my attacks get dodged by someone when they are NOT rolling. OP is right it's incredibly frustrating to fight someone and seeing "dodge, dodge, dodge, dodge" after every freaking attack I do.0 -

With the lag in Cyrodiil these days I don't even see them roll, I just see "dodge".
