Is rapid strikes really a viable stam spammable now?

I was away for almost 1yr so did I miss something? I see a lot of stam users with this skill now. Is this viable now?

Yes.

Blood Craze/Rending's DoT component (along with all other dots) were nerfed super hard. Also caltrops is no longer worthwhile to grind for.
Builds with built in direct damage spammables, like Warden or Necromancer, can still be cool with Rending/Blood Craze because it happens to fit in the rotation for a bit of extra damage.

Emphatically yes!

Some people hate the skill and say it's hard to use and clunky, but I find it one of the easier skills to weave with, like a Stamina version of Force Pulse.

It also has the benefit of reliably proccing the DW axe bleed which is otherwise unreliable if you're relying on Light Attacks only.

The other important thing that changed is that (IIRC) it changed from being considered a DoT to a Direct Damage ability, and thus now scales with Master At Arms instead of Thaumaturge.
