So let's talk about performance

The last time I played was around summerset, and I decided to try out the game again recently.

I even saw there was a performance update with update 25,which I thought "finally!"

However, I feel like the performance is worse than ever before. I get insane stuttering from time to time even out in the open, and sometimes I get a major spike where my fps becomes single digit.

Is it something they are looking into or can even fix?

I have 32 GB of ram, GeForce 2070s and one of the newest i5 cpus so it is not my rig that's the problem.

They are always "looking into it" and the "fixes" usually make things worse.

Performance is so terrible atm.

It was fine after I bought a new laptop and also, wasn't too bad before the latest patch.

However, since then, it keeps crashing and won't let me back on until I have run a Repair.

If I try to get back on without running a Repair, I just get another crash window pop up, every time.

So it's not just me. That's at least good to see.

But why the hell would you release a performance update that functions worse than the live version that makes no sense at all.

Sounds like it's not fixable. A shame cus I really enjoy the game.

Someone mentioned that the latest patch might have been a roll-back, basically.

As I say, I was doing better before it, personally and better still just before the re-upload.

Well some of the performance the worse then before performance could be do to the amount of people playing do to being forced to stay home so that has to be taken into consideration. Some of it might be effecting performance even more then before the Virus happened. However I do think they are at least trying to fix the bulk of the issues and it has helped people for sure the performance updates but its not a magical bullet. Well once things start to get back to normal hopefully performance will go up quite a bit.
