So Cyrodiil and Imperial City both have dailies that reward tokens (proofs or merits) that you can stock up on to get swag. You can get one token for each type of quest per account per day, and any additional dailies you turn in before the timer resets will reward other stuff but no token. As far as I know, there's a 20-hour reset timer on tokens. (If that's not the case, someone please correct me.)
In IC, you can easily tell if your reward coffer is going to contain a token, because the NPC's dialogue window shows a Siegemaster's Coffer if it does and a Light Tel Var Satchel if it doesn't. That way, if the NPC doesn't offer the Siegemaster's Coffer, you can dismiss the quest and turn it in later to get your token.
I would strongly recommend doing something similar with the Cyrodiil conquest board dailies, because it sucks pretty hard to do the work to get one of those things done and then get screwed out of a token. Especially if you're being careful about the timing and turn in a quest 21.5 hours after turning in the previous quest and still don't get a token, which is what happened to me today.
