Shield of Senchal Light Armor Gloves fabric not dyeable??

It seems either like a bug or oversight but the only piece you can dye on the shield of senchal light armor gloves is the leather bit...
The actual fabric of the gloves aren't dyeable and there is only one dye "slot" available on the armor so it could easily be activated.
Could you please confirm if this was intentional?
