Some questions from a noob

Hi, I have a few questions about some of the mechanics:
1) where do I see my spell/weapon penetration
2) Where I can find info about glyphs like cooldowns, effects and how they interact with trait and skills. For instance i read somewere that the glyph that augment the spell power have no effect on the skill but only on the light/heavy attack. Is this true?
3) Where I can find an addon that remind me to use potions of weapon/spellpower? I tried combat cloud, potions alert, FCO starvestop and none of them works.
Potion alert only works for basic stats, the potion alert of starvestop doesn't work, it advise you only when you change zone or every once in a while id doesn't proc when the timer stop and it doesn't show the icon. combat cloud .. well I tried to set it up but i don't know if I'm able. someone can give me some advice, thanks.

1. There isn't a stat on the character sheet for this. You need to calculate it manually (it's not hard). Add up whatever you're receiving from Light Armor passive, Lover Stone, equipment set bonuses, sharpened weapon train & Spell Erosion CP. You also calculate reduction to enemies resistances, like Major/Minor Breach/Fracture, Crushing enchantment, Destro staff passive etc. Those stats are just like penetration. For example, Major Breach (5280 reduction to Spell Resistance) + 5 light armor passive (4884 spell penetration) = 10164 penetration.

If you're on PC there's probably an add-on that does this, I don't play on PC though so I don't know for sure.

As for potions, the potion icon has a cooldown effect...If you use your potion upon cooldown, you don't need an add-on to remind you the effect wore off....unless I'm not understanding your question? The effect doesn't last longer than the potion cooldown unless you add alchemy glyphs.

I know you can get the addon Extended Stats to see your penetration for spell and weapon.
