Bounties on necro bug?

This is like the third or fourth time I have received a bounty on my necromancer who is just level 27. I'm just doing regular story quests. Not in a town or anything, but leaving an instance or just finish a quest and bammm! I'm notorious? This needs fixed or just get rid of criminal act on necro. It's dumb and on a new character that doesn't have thieves guild leveled, bounties take forever to go away. We have player vampires, werewolves, sorcs with daedric pets etc., but that's cool with the guards and townfolk I guess.

When you create a new Necromancer character, @LadyDestiny, it tells you “CRIMINAL ACT” in bold red letters on the character creation screen ... so every player knows what they’re getting into.

In other words, asking for a free pass (because you don’t want to control your skills in public areas) isn’t really what the class is about.

No one else is complaining about instanced bounties. My Orc Necromancer just hit level 50 and has never had a bounty.

Vampires and Werewolves will be criminal act in Greymoor.
Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

Apparantly you didn't read what I wrote. I wasn't in a public area. Was out in the middle of nowhere doing missions and just randomly spawn out of an instance and up pops a bounty. I'm not asking for a free pass here. Been playing this game ever since it launched and yes I know it says "criminal act" Just stating that it acts like there is a random bug. Right now the game is full of bugs and this didn't happen before the update here on console.

Where exactly were you? sometimes there are random forts in the wilderness with citizens and even guards.

Apparently you didn't read what I wrote either. ;)

I just turned level 50 after doing quests, public dungeons, and generally being "out in the middle of nowhere" too. Never incurred any bounty.

If I can do it you can too ... unless you have screenshots of the areas that are causing you trouble??

I think I maxed out around 10K bounty doing the cadwells gold/silver quests, but I probably went on a crime spree after around 5K. Tere was one area in the quest that just hammered me with bounties.

Maxing Thieves Guild netted me a round 4000 gold bounty because of my poor thieving skills.

It seems like you might be receiving a bounty through wayshrine transition, I know you are aware of criminal acts in regards to the following:
    • bone Goliath and morphs.
    • Blastbones and morphs.
    • Spirit Mender and morphs.
    • Skeletal Mage and morphs.
    • Flesh Colossus and morphs.
    • Animate Blastbones (reanimate morph, not explicitly stated as criminal act but caution is advised since it derives from the Blastbones ability based on its morph.)
But it is wise to know that there are rare cases where if a corpse from one of your Necromancer skills is present when transitioning Via wayshrine or some other means before the corpse disappears, you may get a bounty because of it.
It pays to clear any corpses in the area before moving further as it can keep you under the radar. (Especially in some times when NPCs May show up along the road to nowhere.) best you can do is slot any abilities labeled as “criminal act” on backup only and have abilities on your frontbar that are not labeled as such.

But as one guy said, take the bounty as a Necromancers Badge of Office, it proves how much of a badass they are and can be.
If you see me anywhere. Know that I am sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching as ESO burns the goodwill of its player base with practices that only disrespects the players time like it did to me and many others...

If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.

You just need to be weary and make sure your summons despawn before you go leaving the instances. Been caught up like that "in the middle of nowhere" myself. It's just a bit of extra management you need to deal with when you roll necro.
