Anyone else getting regularly DC'd today?

I can't tell if it's the new patch or just all the school kids (schools closed here) home playing fortnite clogging up the network but performance has been abysmal for me today. Constant lag and dc'd doing mundane things like crafting writs. I'm on high speed cable internet and everything else seems fine like streaming movies, other games, ect so just wondering if it's me or are other people having issues as well.

I get DC'd every 5 minutes (when I manage to actually get a character loaded).

My guess with this being a world wide issue and many kids home across the globe this will be an ongoing issue until we return to somewhat normal conditions.

I know plenty of adults who are also not going to work for one reason or another as well and a few will be trying to play games.

I'm sure all platforms for gaming will see slower than normal service for a while.

I agree with everyone being online more, but not sure I agree with it being an Internet/Server based issue. Maybe some regions might be more congested but even still I haven't personally seen or read about any sign of things being bottlenecked or anything like that, in fact, everything I have seen most services are increasing bandwidth to handle the load. That may change, who knows. Whether or not ZoS does the same (or even needs to) is another question. On the other side of things, if ESO's performance was normally good, I would be more inclined to agree, but more than likely it's a ZoS-based problem, imho.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, no disconnects or issues on my end as of yet, played for about 3 hours this morning. PC/NA.

So far I've been kicked to login screen twice today when trying to change characters

DC'd upon any loading screen is more likely since large patch... Finishing quest in Murkmire (Death and Dreaming in the Dreaming Nest) impossible because it restarts from the beginning if you don't get through ALL of those murals without a DC... there are probably other quests like this, but this is the one I've tried several times. While the DCs are annoying, it sure would be nice if it kept track of the murals I'd finished so maybe I could move onward....
