Attribute targets

JackSmirkingRevenge
Hello everyone,
I was curious if there was any resource or targets for things like spell crit, spell pen, magicka recovery? I am having a hard time deciding which sets to use based on those modifiers. I am not sure if I have to much, too littler? Are there targets I should aim for depending on what class I play?

Specifically I am running a magblade and I feel my crit is too high, its at 71 percent on the front bar, but maybe its not, I just dont know where to find out what the targets should be.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

    Crit being too high is only an issue if you are missing the theoretical 4-6k physical/spell penetration.

    This applies only to PvE but I'll copy/paste the theorycraft from Dottz
    Magicka

    Light Armor Concentration = 4884
    Tank/Torug’s Pact Infused Crusher = 2741
    Tank/Major Breach = 5280
    Templar PoTL = 1320
    Alkosh = 3010
    Spell Erosion 10 pts = 1003
    Total debuff = 18238

    Physical

    Tank/Torug’s Pact Infused Crusher = 2741
    Tank/Major Fracture = 5280
    Templar PoTL = 1320
    Alkosh = 3010
    Sharpened 1h = 1376
    Piercing 61 pts = 4476
    Total debuff = 18203

    You can of course assume you won't always have all of these in a 4 man dungeon but that's about how the breakdown to penetration works.

    Your magicka recovery should be good enough that you don't have to waste a heavy attack too often by utilizing group synergies and undaunted passives to keep your magicka fueled to cast your spells. A high crit is never a bad thing though.

    Thank you for that, Il take a look then at the website.

    So are there no weights or say soft caps for the others you should theoretically aim for, crit spell damage etc? I am trying to decide which sets I should wear, or even if it matters that much.

    I have such high crit, I was wondering if taking off something like mother's sorrow and replacing it with spell strat for single target, new moon acolyte, Scathing mage etc was a good idea. There are so many sets, I just cant decide lol

    Also, is wearing 2 proc sets ever a good idea. For example wearing scathing mage and spell strategist for ST, or am I better off wearing a static body set like new moon + a proc set front bar?

    Thank you for taking the time! :)

    A lot of that depends on coefficients for when determining spell damage for example having 100% crit but only 15k max stam and 1500 WD means you'll do less damage than someone who has the normal 25-30k max stam and 3k WD.

    A good place to aim for Magicka users is generally 35-40k Magicka (it's easier to get to this than it is Stam) and around 3k SD with 50% Spell Crit. If you can get higher than 50% while keeping the other pools great!
    Magicka/Stam recovery is always finicky so it's hard to say exactly where that should sit.

    So the 3k SD, would that be with procs, potions, etc, because I am running 5 New Moon Acolyte body, 5 Scathing Mage FB and jewelry, and VMA staff back bar and am sitting at 2k SD static... I dont know how I can get any more. All my pieces are purp, but even golded out not sure they would reach 3k.
