I understand what you’re saying and there are 2 sides to this.

On the werewolf’s side, it’s all about mercilessly continuing the slaughter, move fast and kill things.... a moment’s hesitation and the game is lost... the whole vibe of the werewolf is mad, senseless destruction... slowness is death..

On the non-werewolf’s side, it’s about maintaining a suitable pace through the dungeon that enables players to do things together and achieve their individual and collective goals. Nothing is more tedious than one gung-*** werewolf rushing ahead, pulling everything and ruining the experience for their group mates (no matter how understandable it is for the werewolf).

    Possible solutions are

    1. Werewolf transform cost is reduced but time in werewolf form is also reduced - you have to kill/eat faster to stay as a werewolf, but it’s less costly to transform again. Then it doesn’t matter how long dialogue lasts because you will almost certainly be able to transform again. Maybe make this a dungeon only effect to maintain existing balance in PvP

    2. Werewolves travel in packs in dungeons. Being with another werewolf and actively playing together boosts your effectiveness... I don’t think I’ve seen it at all in dungeons, but it’s impressive in PvP. Clearly not an option in PUGs, but it could be a fun thing to do with your mates.

    3. Werewolf tells all their group that this is what they want to do and the group agrees to the strategy. A bit like travelling in packs, this could make the dungeon more entertaining for everyone. The key is that it’s agreed (in the same way that you collectively agree to do a dungeon more slowly if someone is questing) and the werewolf accepts that sometimes the group won’t agree and they will have to not transform at times.

    TL:DR

As with all things in dungeons, it’s more fun if everyone knows what’s going on and everyone’s in agreement.

In terms of OP, I get the frustration, but sometimes it’s not just about your experience.
