[PC - NA] [Potential] Keeper of the Kiln Fire Deactivation

I'm not sure if it's intentional or not but it seems that the fire deactivation move is not prioritized over other moves.

My group, on separate occasions, have ran into issues where the boss stands on the correct rune and does not deactivate the fire for a very long time - which sometimes results in wipes. We've tried moving him around on the rune but it's not always a guaranteed deactivation.

Proposal: Prioritize the fire deactivation move over other moves so that the boss, when on the correct rune, casts that ability first and not before.

    I have seen with two different PUG on PS4 / NA, Unhallowed Grave, normal, where some of the group will grapple up, find the blue sigil on top, activate it, then the tank will taunt the boss over the lit sigil on the ground ... and then (many seconds later) we all die from the fire AOE. The boss does not "stomp his mighty sword into the ground" like the Alcast guide says he should. The boss just stands in the lit circle, swinging his sword around, while the group all dies from the fire AOE. And the tank dies in the lit sigil next to the boss who is standing in the lit sigil. Very frustrating. I have finished Unhallowed Grave with a PUG, and with that group we killed that boss on the first try, by doing what the guide said. With the other two PUG, we kept trying, and failing, as described above, until the PUG gave up.

    He has a very small shield on him.

    You need to bring the boss to the sigil... and dps down the shield while he is in the sigil to get him to slam his sword down.

    If you dps down the shield before you go up, he won't do the mechanic.

    Does not have the additional mechanic about the shield that you just provided. I need to try that.

    Thanks for that tip, will try that out. I guess we brought his shield down somehow before activating the rune. But even if that was the case, it would make sense that the fire deactivation attack was prioritized so that when he does go the correct rune - with his shield down - he does the attack.
