Is this a good set for No-CP PvP content?

I mean the critical resistance is huge but I'm not sure how much it will impact a build for No-CP.

Advice is much appreciated.

Most people use 7-5 pieces Impen in no cp and find that is enough. That would be 1290 - 1806 impen assuming all gold.

Here is the math for crit (dmg )resist:

    Base crit dmg is 150%

    x/6800

    Using Impreg: 2000/6800 = 0.294

Gold Impreg makes crit dmg against you 29.4% less. Most players will have 121.6% against you. Templars, NB and Wardens will have 131.6% against you. If they use RAT, they will have 141.6% against you. Khajiit's can take this to 151.6%.

5 Impen is -18.9% crit dmg, 7 impen is -26.5% crit dmg.

The benefit of Impreg is allowing you to use other traits on your armor. 7 Well Fitted for instance would give you -35% Roll Dodge Cost and Sprint cost. Combine that with 5 Medium and you have -55% Roll Dodge cost. Sprinting is already pretty cheap since the recent update.

If you plan on going for 7 pieces Divines, I'd suggest against it. It really only gives you +50% to a mundus stone.

    Using Warrior as an example: 258 Weapon Damage * 1.525 = 393.
    393 - 258 = 135

In this case, you've traded 7 pieces of Impen (-26.5% crit dmg) for Impreg (-29.4% crit dmg). You've lost an entire 5 piece bonus (300 weapon dmg hundings, etc) for 7 divines (135 weapon dmg).

There are rare cases where you can make Divines work, that is an example of a trade that isn't worth it.

The rare cases of divines working was the many years of magsorc crutching on shields that took no crit dmg, letting them use divines.
Back then as today they would flood the forums with reasons as to why everybody else was wrong.
