Did/when did they change the effect of gold glyphs on items?

I don't pay that close attention and maybe i'm wrong, but didn't it used to be that using a gold glyph on an item gave you the gold value (even if it was a purple item)? It's probably been this way for awhile, but I just noticed that I had to upgrade my jewelry to gold in order to get the higher glyph value. It did used to be that the glyph value was seperate from the item quality, right?

    Was the jewelry infused?

Correct, infused jewelry increases the stats of the enchantment.

It hasn't changed. Using a gold glyph on an item gives the you the gold value for the glyph.

Nvm. See now it was already answered.

I think the issue is the trait of the jewelry, not the glyph. Infused trait is 51% boost to glyph when jewelry is purple, and a 60% boost to glyph when jewelry is gold. The underlying glyph power should have stayed the same, but the trait-based buff to glyph power should have increased by 9%.
