3 things to make the production value of this game skyrocket

Game has improved dramatically overall. New zones are really terrific. My observations tho as the things that still seem amateur or anti-immersive.

1. Take away camera lock when speaking with NPC's! Skyrim's quest dialogue camera was perfect. Your camera moves towards the npc, but you aren't taken out of the world like you are in this game. Here it's almost like you enter an intsance, and it breaks immersion. And since speaking with NPC's is like, 50% of the game, this one minor change would make a MASSIVE improvement towards the player's experience.

2. Make npc's reach either a door or a waypoint before randomly disapearing. I'm doing a quest, they say they will meet me back somewhere, and than they walk 20 feet and just vaporize. Super immersion breaking. Makes the character feel less real.

3. Make the sprinting look less floaty. Looks silly. The zones are so gorgeous now, that when you see some other player zipping next to you and it looks like they are floating, it almost looks like it's some character from another game. Also looks ridiculous when people are runing on top of their mount.

Just my 2 cents.

    1. You are "instanced" or better to say the other players are removed from rendering so you have the clear vision of the npc for immersion. You would like to have flapper flapping in front of your face or some player doing mementos while you are talking with npc? Skyrim is SP, you are not taking other people shanenigans into consideration.

    2. Since this is the related to quest mechanics, after I'm done with talking with NPC I'm off on my horse full gallop or teleport to next quest marker. Waiting for npc to walk his way to waypoint and then teleport would be annoying AF cos then we would always need to wait for them. Indeed not realisric but quality of life feature.

    3. Not sure what is your platform you play on, but there is an option to enable where character will interact with ground in a way that it will not stand flat, it alters the movement a bit to. Stand on horse is a bug indeed.

My opinion is not value skyrocketing but more annoyance actually.

Also to add regarding npc's. Mostly you are not the only that will speak with NPC at that moment, there will be other players, so let's say you approached npc from behind or a side, how will you speak with him if you are not instanced because npc is already talking to someone else. To his back? And usually there is 10 or more players at high traffic npc's like bankers. You must be instanced so that npc can face you only and speak with you only.

Having a camera dynamically pan/zoom into the dialogue window instead of instasnapping would be quite nice. Didn’t they do that in Oblivion?

In an MMO you have to expect some crazy or annoying people - you don't want to speak to an NPC and see others hopping around in between you and the NPC and a twilight flapping and a bear standing over the NPC - THAT would be immersion breaking - but as it is it's as good as it gets considering that a lot of people are just plain annoying and like to grief others.

What we have here is better than other mmo's where the npc's stare blankly into the distance whatever you do.

@RefLiberty those are pretty good points. I still think the dialogue perspective can be massively improved. Currently it's too much like reading a book instead of listening to a character in the game you are playing. It could be much more immersive.

About your point #2, I mean sure if you are speed rushing through everything like someone who doesn't care about the single player questing experience and feeling immersed. But currently there are too many quests where npc's just disappear mid air after walking a few feet away. It's ridiculous.

Good suggestions, talking to npcs is almost like an “instance”... you can’t see other players when you do it, kind of like how everyone disappears when you're crafting...

I don't get the problem with npc convos? Who cares what it does? What do you think you need to have happening when you're talking to an npc? You talk to it, you go on. I'm really happy that the "world screen" freezes when you talk to an npc - there's no distraction. I don't get it....
