Yo. I'm not sure if this is known or not. You have stam builds hitting like 90k dps and mag toons hitting like 70k if they are top tier.

    Make a new thread, post your build, rota, etc. and ask for advice. Those kind of threads usually yield success from what I've seen.

    My stam nb peasant cant even hit 90k and its the single target damage class and as close range as you can get. Its only group utility of major fracture for single target to target was completely castrated from stam nb.

    That probably why good player hit 90k+ in Mdk, Mtemplar, Mcro, etc..

    TBF, I don't know if the gap is that big in practical terms. On a dummy that doesn't fight back, stands still, and has no mechanics? Sure. But in real life situations you have bosses that move, have mechanics that force you to fight from a distance, or that go into phases where they cannot be damaged, etc. the stam DPS tends to drop off more than mag DPS because stam dps is so reliant on being able to get up close to hit combos with dual wield or their 2 handed weapons. Bow damage is still considered somewhat substandard compared to the melee weapons.

    I'm sure its tough to measure on console, but my guess is that because mag characters get to fight from range, and are usually more survivable due to damage shields and access to better heals, that it all kind of evens out in real combat situations.

    IMO Dummies aren't the end-all-be-all in this game and people need to stop learning to worship them. They don't replicate real combat situations, nor do people even gear themselves up the same way most of the time when they're trying to min/max their performance on a dummy vs. doing a trial or dungeon boss. All it is is an opportunity to perfect your rotation in way that will show you tangible progress.

    Dummies are here to help improving rotation and get better number in real situation.
    Ofc you will do a bit less if boss move a bit but if you're hitting big number in dummies you'll also hit big number in real.

    If people can't hit decent number in dummies they won't in real situation too for obvious reason.
