Its too early to require sheild of senche in master crafting writs

Give us a few months to get the motifs please, I've already gotten 2 master writs and now I have to shelve them until I farm the motifs. Its quite a change to have them required the day after the new dlc drops.

This isn’t a change — it’s happened with previous motifs too. I would have much preferred to see writs start dropping at the same time as the motif, but I don’t think they should be delayed for months afterwards. What about people who will be farming and/or buying the motifs as soon as they come out and getting them sooner? Part of the excitement of acquiring a new motif is the ability to do master writs requiring it. It will take me at least a month or two to get these too, I imagine, but I don’t see that as a reason to block others from getting and doing these writs until I can get it myself, especially as the writs are tradable.

1. They didn't announce it in patch notes. It is a change, I've had months before needing Fang Liar or Scalecaller, or Sapiarch.. etc.
2. No one's selling these in traders yet and farming takes time. This isn't like one that's also offered in the crown store.
3. If someone who has mastered almost every motif and didn't read the name on the new one he has to cancel it and delete it forever.

I want my master writ back.

Previous patches have done exactly the same thing, this is not a new phenomenon. I don't like it, but experienced crafters should not be surprised by this.

It's worse. The motif isn't actually even in game yet.

I must be extremely lucky to do hundreds of master writs and not need a single Dragonguard, or Pellentine motif.

They do wait. They've waited for countless DLCs and expansions.

This is definitely a change.

Yes, you have been lucky. Shields of Senchal will mark the 80th motif in game, New Moon the 81st, and it's a random roll. The Welkynar issue was a bit different because not only was it not out yet but it hadn't even been announced when writs for it started dropping. That's a bridge too far, imo. At least we only have 7 days until Shields of Senchal (which will be in the crown store at that point) and presumably a month or two until New Moon.

Have u tried to keep the writs until u get motif? I heard its easy way to do.

The motif isn't dropping yet, according to the crown showcase. I'm mad that 1. I'm forced to waste inventory space on these and delete the ones that I've already accepted.

I do hundreds of master writs each week and I don't have time nor inventory for what is clearly bugs.

Yep.

The OP's delivery method of talking points might be abrasive ... but at the core they are valid points.

I've received 2 master writs requiring that New Moon Priest style last week. *Update* This style has been released today!

Having master writs for a style that hasn't been released is pure incompetence. Take more care with quality control.
