We've asked ZOS in a few threads why this change was made and to please either revert it or give us an option to shut it off, but no response yet.

But wouldn't that turn off all subtitles?
It would be nice to still have subtitles on the screen in their normal place. But having them shoved into the text chat box along with zone chat, guild chat, and group chat is awful. Made it very hard to do one of the new dungeons last night when my group would try to type and it'd be lost in a flood of NPC text.PS5 NA. GM of The PTK's - a free trading guild (CP 500+).
