New guild roster feature is not great

So now guild rosters update and moves you back to the top of the roster any time someone logs on or off the game.

I can not even explain how frustrating this is. There are a lot of us that have active guilds with a large number of members. I literally can't look through my roster. I checked to see if there was an option to change this and there isn't. Please please address this.

You can't sort using name? On PS4 you can at least as of last night.

Thanks for letting us know, @EVELYN_WAUGH. This change was not intended, and we'll work on getting it fixed so it works the same way it did previously.

im not sure if this is a recent update change, it has done this to me off and on since the date of release on console i always thought it was intended its annoying as hell though so if it is something that can be sorted that would be awesome,
but im not the only one that has had this happen, i know loads on console that report it jumping back to the top of the list when someone logs.

It needs to go back how it was 2 changes ago - when it would actually stay on a selected person even after you sent them mail and then went back to the guild roster.

Hard to say since we don't even have a fix internally for it yet. There's a chance it could go into an incremental, but it may also go into the next update. Just depends on the timing of when the fix is done and verified.

This exact issue has come up in the game before, four years ago. The rosters were broken in July of 2016 and were not fixed until early 2017. The last time it took 9 months to get it fixed. So there was a fix in place already for this issue. More and more previously fixed bugs have been popping up, I really hope this was an update to the game and not a rollback of the last 3 years fixes to try and solve the game issues. As it stands right now, you cannot travel to peoples houses since the roster could jump while you are in the menu, you might send mail to the wrong person, and more importantly you could accidentally promote, demote, or remove the wrong person.

Hopefully this will be fixed sooner than it did last time.

I will just say that this bug should be given the same level of immediacy as the vSO poison hotfix that is going to come out within hours of the issue. This bug is not a small bug it is affecting the ability to manage large guilds. If you have a member that is in the middle of the alphabet you can’t even get to their name before it bumps you back to the top. This is game breaking and should be fixed immediately.

What JJMaxx1980 said, this needs to be prioritized and fixed ASAP, as banker of my guild, it's made my job impossible!

Instead of pushing out new events and items (Seriously, for the love of God - how many Indriks you do think ANYONE needs?????) maybe you could instead try to fix your platform so every other update doesn't break something!

I thought the roster not updating bug was bad, and I had to reset my xbox after banking, but that bug was no where near as bad as this one...

I thought the bug where deposits weren't getting logged in the history was bad, and we had all 495+ members of the guild email me their dues directly, and I had to screen shot it and deposit for them, I thought THAT was surely the worst bug to hit guilds/banking ever, right?

Well, you sure showed me! This coming back, again, shows how little you care about your most avid players. Fix it already!!

you are confusing immediacy with easy fixability... this issue may have a higher priority but be more difficult to resolve.

would you rather other, resolved issues were not implemented until yours has been fixed?

ZOS probably want a resolution as much as you do, but wanting and being able to do aren't the same thing.

I am experiencing this issue on PC and it has been a horrible pain. I hope this fix goes out soon. Best of luck solving the problem!

I'm having the issue on the PS4. As a guild leader it makes it much more difficult to contact people and organise things. On a personal note, a member went to mail me a worm cult chest motif that I needed, didn't know about the issue and so inadvertently sent it to someone else in the guild when the roster scrolled. Any update on when this will be fixed?

Is there any update on when this will be fixed? GMs are finding it almost impossible to do roster work. Most of us enjoy playing the game and not standing in place for an hour or two trying to get a guild roster straight. If you guys can't fix it can you at least take away the Set Rank feature and turn it back to how it was before? The feature is not worth the stress.

@ZOS_GinaBruno I hate to be a bother. Just hoping to get some type of update? It's been a month with no update, even if it's a "we don't know yet" that would be helpful. This is impacting a large number of your core everyday players. This impacts the GMs & guilds that make the game social and more fun to play for a lot of people.

@ZOS_GinaBruno I don’t understand why it’s such a challenge to fix considering they have already done it in the past! The update obviously just reset a fix they already had in place! As usually anything that has to do with making managing guilds easier is low on the list of priorities! I would respect ZOS more if they just stepped up and said with people working from home it’s delayed them fixing this problem which was clearly a oversight to begin with!

More than 1 month gone till the patch than was supposed to improve Eso in PS4, still no fix for Guild UI in PS4, that was working fine before patch.

I know that the team working in UI guild, did some amazing job some months ago, but in PS4 we guildmasters got no add-ons to run guilds.

Btw, maybe it's simple to get in purchases menus, instead of all the sales for 30 days ordered by time, a weekly 2 tabs list of sellers and buyers.

Just something that will make guild UI server job less demanding, as "roster jump" must be for server.

Any update on this, seeing how Gina Bruno responded weeks ago? Is this like the infinite loadscreens feature now where you are aware and working on it for years but it's never fixed?

Where did I miss seeing it, what section? I looked at the three bullet points about guilds and did not see this mentioned there. It talks about the Guild STORE, not the Guild Roster.
