Blocking does not cancel sprint

I dont know if this is intended or not, but after the changes to block with update 25 you can not cancel sprint with block. Nor will block dismount you if you are galloping. If this is intended its a bad change. Blocking should defently override your sprint and make you stop and block.

If its a bug I'm playing on PC EU server.

same, i was so used to dismount and stop sprints with block.

Yes, I hope this is an unidentified change and that it will be fixed. I first noticed how I kept failing to dismount, later I also noticed that if I sprint into combat I need to stop the sprint before I can block. This obviously takes longer and might get me killed.

Okay, this might mainly be an issue for players using a controller since we toggel sprint. Before it was still possible to cancel it with block, now you can't. I guess you will be getting more reports no this now when the update is coming to console.

Noticed the same, more so in PVP since rather than blocking to dismount and dodge away you just keep going and die. Also ran off the edge in Sunspire.

I noticed this after it was pointed out yesterday.

Don't you think it's just an adjustment for you to stop pressing forward on the left stick? Seems like a muscle memory thing that you'd get used to after a day or so?

You can hold the trigger (block) while sprinting then just let go of left stick.

Didn't Roll Dodge go through a similar change a couple patches ago? I don't think it reverted back, so we must've adapted to the change, no? Or did it revert?
