Yes, you can go to rediculous numbers and just stacking crit as much as possible. There is a mathematical point where adding more base damage or increasing the crit multiplier would be better and that varies from class to class, even build to build but there is no hard cap to crit chance.
    Really, idk

Just remember that crit chance caps at about 90%.
I don’t think crit damage has a cap, although 210% is sufficient for most builds

Minor force 10%, Major force 25%, Khajiit 10%, Senche's bite after dodgeroll 12%, Shadow Mundus with all divine 19%, Archer's mind from stealth 10%.

That adds up to 86% bonus + 50% base crit damage gives us a +186% to your damage. So a regular skill will crit for almost 3 times the damage on that setup.
If we run Senche's on the backbar and swap to a precise Bow of Gryphon's Ferocity after dodgerolling while wearing 1 medium piece of Grundwulf and Slimecraw each, we can get a crit chance of 55% with that. So while your buffs are up, you deal around 1.5 times your base damage on average.

Edit: BAD MATH! IGNORE AND SCROLL DOWN!

You have a lot of nice info here mate, but I think you are misunderstanding a few things. Base crit damage is 150% of original damage, and with all modifiers you listed it brings it up to 236% damage of original. At 55% crit chance your over damage ouput will be about 1.7 times what it would be with critical hits.

Yeah I actually had a brain fart there. Silly me. 86+50 is 136, not 186. So it's a little less than 2.5 times your regular damage when you crit. But the rest checks out.

Last time I checked there wasn’t a crit damage cap or did that change. I do know nb and Templar’s had the highest crit damage modifiers.

If you want a build with high crit I would go for a Khajiit stamplar, especially with pol now being able to crit. Stamplar is probably the best crit class you could put together. And trust me it won’t just be for giggles.

They don't but the higher you go, you start getting diminishing returns. This is why Khajiit is actually kinda crap for PvE since Shadow is BiS.

The highest you can go is probably by taking those 236% described earlier, maxing the Precise Strikes CP and being a Templar, NB or Warden when attacking a chilled target. That's the current cap because more is not currently possible until something with a higher bonus comes along.
