Hey guys, probably all of you have some cool ideas about how you would like to see this game in the next X years, so let's discuss and share! Before I start, just want to let you know that I'm a most typical casual player who've never been in trials (but I did almost all vet dungeons) and probably my feedback doesn't matter much, but still. This list is super opinionated and based on my previous experience in TES games and other MMORPGs.

So here is what I want to see in the next few years to make this game even more awesome:
1)Fix Cyrodiil lags
Pretty straightforward and boring idea, but I think everyone will be glad to enjoy Cyrodiil during prime time without 3-5 second lags.

2) Solo mode for overland content
It would be great if we had an option to enter solo mode for overland zones to enjoy questing and exploration without breaking immersion, in a same way as we do for some main story quests. Tbh I see no reason to see other players outside of instanced content because I've never seen other players communicating with each other and never did it by myself. At the same time its so frustrating when you see a villain, that you are chasing for a zone main questline, evaporated in half millisecond by some random 810 CP guy.
If you want to do dolmens/public dungeons/delves/dragons/etc you still have an option to untoggle a solo mode. Also resource nodes can still be shared between layers, it is not a big deal to see node disappearing in front of you.

I can understand they did it like that in 2015, but game evolved so far since then. And communication between random players can be cultivated only if content is hard (WoW Classic is a nice example, you have to find party for some quests/dungeons because sometimes it is hard to do such content alone).

3) Make overland content (significantly) harder
In current state overland content is so easy, especially on 300+ CP levels. It breaks game immersion and magic even further when you clear entire zones in a matter of seconds without any challenge. May be we could have a toggle for adept/master/legendary difficulty like in a previous games from TES franchise? E.g. if legendary difficulty enabled, player will receive more gold/resources/higher quality loot (epic instead of green from quests).

As a casual player I really enjoy awesome questlines, but most of the time it feels as a routine/chore when game doesn't provide any challenge. Yea, I know that game have super hardcore DLC vet dungeons/trials, but its a different story. In this case I just want to enjoy questing and want to plan my fight strategy ahead of time.

4) Crops/Gardening
Another straightforward idea, would be great to have my own garden where I can plant provisioning or alchemy crops or even animals.

5) Character progression after 160/300/810 CP
That's an incredibly complex game design problem and I don't have any suggestions (only the next point in my list), so it is just how I feel right now while playing.
As a player I always want to feel that my character gains power and have goal ahead. That is why it is painful when progression stops after 160 CP and items doesn't gain in strength. Especially it is bad in current meta when it is so easy to get decent/good gear in several hours (Mother's Sorrow/Burning Spellweave/False God's/etc).

6) Spellcrafting
Example: Yes, another post about spellcrafting. I understand difficulties and risks that this system will introduce, but it is such a cool idea! I was never a fan of existing class system (classes duplicate each other and every class/build is just a variation of spellblade) and being able to make my own build with my own spells multiplied by variety of sets that this game already have, this game mechanic can be so huge. There will be balance problems and cookie cutter builds, but don't those problems exist already? In current state of a game stamina dps builds are absolutely identical, mag builds are absolutely identical (1 exception is petsorc), pvp is fun only if you are in a two-handed build with Rally and Vigor.

Every player with whom I discussed this mechanic was so hyped, so may be it is time to take a risk like you did with One Tamriel?

7) Mounts for in game achievements
Same as in WoW.

What do you think about my list? What ideas do you like/dislike and why?

I would have put class balance on there before, but after leveling multiple toons you sort of stop caring. You just shake your head at dev decisions and play a different character.
Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
Condemned and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten

They already said that they plan Spellcrafting. You don't have a launch plan yet, but it's still in store.

This game needs a system like this, that changes the game considerably.

Oh, did they? I saw only news that they don’t have any plans and still thinking about it.

    1. Performance improvments
    2. Interesting new content
    3. New systems (spellcrafting maybe?)
    4. End of this p2w bs (yes, necro dominance lasting a year is a little p2w, don't you think?)
    5. Class change token (for god sake, we can change RACE. Changing your speciality shouldn't be that weird in this world)
    6. More communication, less corporate bs
    7. Hire more ppl, year after year we see the degradation of content quality, performance, etc
    8. New combat team?

Of your list I'm fine with all, especially #1, except for #5. Gear is fine. I absolutely do not want to regrind all of that gear again.

Swap that out with "balance classes with a little more precision" and I'm on board with all of it.

I think, out of all the things I could list (and there are a lot as an RPer, crafter, and someone who enjoys decorating houses when the latter isn't making me lose brain cells from frustration), I would say to make the servers and game stable enough so that I don't crash or have ridiculous lag when doing something as non-taxing as RPing in a player house. My computer is a fairly strong gaming machine and only a few years old, it's not the most awesome thing ever but it should be more than enough to handle ESO without having all these issues.

As far as spellcrafting goes, I honestly don't think that'll bring as much diversity to the table as everyone thinks. Just like with potions or enchants, there will be a select few that are BIS and would be seen everywhere, while most others are ignored or only used by niche builds. It would only diversify things for the first few months probably, when people are figuring out what the best spells for any given build are.
    Character List [RP and PvE]:
Stands-Against-Death: Argonian Magplar Healer - Crafter
Krisiel: Redguard Stamsorc DPS - Literally crazy Werewolf, no like legit insane. She nuts
Kiju Veran: Khajiit Stamblade DPS - Ex-Fighters Guild Suthay who likes to punch things, nicknamed Tinykat
Niralae Elsinal: Altmer Stamsorc DPS - Young Altmer with way too much Magicka
Sarah Lacroix: Breton Magsorc DPS - Fledgling Vampire who drinks too much water
Slondor: Nord Tankblade - TESified verson of Slenderman
Marius Vastino: Imperial <insert role here> - Sarah's apathetic sire who likes to monologue
Delthor Rellenar: Dunmer Magknight DPS - Sarah's ex who's a certified psychopath
Lirawyn Calatare: Altmer Magplar Healer - Traveling performer and bard who's 101% vanilla bean
Gondryn Beldeau: Breton Tankplar - Sarah's Mages Guild mentor and certified badass old person
Gwendolyn Jenelle: Breton Magplar Healer - Friendly healer with a coffee addiction
Soliril Larethian- Altmer Magblade DPS - Blind alchemist who uses animals to see and brews plagues in his spare time
Tevril Rallenar: Dunmer Stamcro DPS - Delthor's "special" younger brother who raises small animals as friends
Celeroth Calatare: Bosmer <insert role here> - Shapeshifting Bosmer with enough sass to fill Valenwood

    PC - NA - EP - CP1000+
Avid RPer. Hit me up in-game @Ras_Lei if you're interested in getting together for some arr-pee shenanigans!

I agree about spellcrafting builds variety, but only from minmaxing/vet trial perspective. As a casual player it will allow me to make decent builds that is fun to play, not like it is now. I'm playing magplar and I skills variety not exists.

Performance is always welcome. Though i hardly experience issues in dungeons, or overworld.

The solo-questing. I doubt, that it worth the effort. But it would be nice to have. Also easier farming.

Different overworld difficulty. Now this one would require different instances to be non-abusable. And that is a lot of work. The difficulty itself can be done in a simple, and primitive way, or it could be done good. But the latter takes way too much effort.

Spellcrafting though would be welcome, but i'm damn sure, that it could NEVER be balanced. Maybe restricted for overworld content. So that trials, dungeons, and PVP would not get messed by it.

Melee magic is an interesting idea. Only question is: what kind of weapon would it have? While casting spells with bare hands looks good. Balancing the game around it would be a nightmare.

Does builds and abilities balanced now? Don't think so tbh and imho it's fine. Not everything should be balanced in MMO, it is not a rts game.

Frankly, there are a lot of things that they need to do, many of them i already said many times in other posts.

So i'm just gonna say in general the performance stuff, new systems to counter the progressive power gain so nerfs each patch aren't needed.... reverting dots to about elsweyr level.
