DO NOT PERFORM A CHARGEBACK. YOUR ACCOUNT WILL GET PERMANENTLY CLOSED

Since there have been increasing numbers of people, lately, trying to get a refund, I'm just Letting everybody know. Because it seems that lots of people are completely unaware of this standard MMO company practice.

Open a ticket and be patient. Unless of course you intend to completely leave ESO behind or need to fix your addiction.

Spread the word and warn your friends.

Certainly a way to stop some people coming back...

This is standard in many game development companies. Blizzard does the same for example. Square Enix does it too. I don't think I know a single company that doesn't do it in fact.

I tried it with Steam and they answered: "LOL. You have 1k+ hours what refund/chargeback are you talking about."

I was thinking that, but what about expansions?

Likely will not be buying the next chapter. But that remains uncertain... It's just never wise to buy at the tp of the power curve, you always overpay.

After careful consideration (and oh! so much deliberation) we have concluded that you circumstance sounds too much like a l2p issue for it to be just a mere coincidence.

Yea, and they will blame Zos for their own actions.

When younger I knew some people who abandoned a lease because they were disgruntled with the landlord. Then they blamed the landlord for having an eviction on their credit history. Of course it was the landlords fault the tenant made such a poor decision.

A chargeback on this is in the same ballpark of not thinking through the issue. Then again, why purchase a chapter several months ahead of time?

I, like many, have played through the existing content and want a new area to explore and story to play through. Waiting for a decrease in price isn't going to do me any favors except leave me bored.

I pre-ordered Summerset because it also came with the full Morrowind (with Warden). This was before they started doing the "old chapters are DLC" and "Warden is a separate purchase" thing.

Haven't bought Elsweyr or Skyrim, though. /shrug

I started shortly after morrowind dropped, subbed for around a year, bought crowns, etc...pre ordered summerset, and not long after unsubbed due to the massive decrease in performance...

But i still played almost daily, for multiple hours. Then, i believe actually around...scalebreaker? I subbed again for about a month, because i actually saw some improvement, and thought things were on the right track, and i will happily support this game if there is communication and some sort of results.

But lol that sub didn't last long, and ive since taken a few long breaks, and at this point im debating on if I'll even bother to download update 25.

    ...stop looking.
Remember how corporations generally think about money...

    :p;)
(Better to think twice before clicking "purchase" and once you did, stick by your decision even if it turns out to have been suboptimal! Just sayin.)

It should work. I got Morrowind expansion refunded after it didn't work for me from steam. Just the expansion, basevgame stayed and everything else associated too.
