[Rare Furnishing Plans] What if we can replicate them with vouchers

What if you can use vouchers to craft a Furnishing Plan for something you have already learnt how to make.
For example, if you can craft "Alinor Ancestor Clock, Celestial", you can spend X vouchers to create "Sketch: Alinor Ancestor Clock, Celestial".

Presumably, to avoid using costly ingredients?

I think he wants to create the furnishing plan not the item. So probably to sell. Personally, I doubt they would allow this.
I don't comment here often but when I do, I get [snip]

Some plans are stupid rare. A big voucher cost would be an alternate grind to procure those plans.

This way would allow someone to create the very furnishing plan you want, and not some random plan. It would be a shame to have the crafter pay that much, though.

Very likely it would be one crafter making it for another crafter. Who else would consume a multi-million gold valued furnishing plan in the first place.

The issue is that there are several people, like myself that have invested 100m+ into collection all the furnishing plans in the game. It would also make the envelopes completely obsolete. Why would you want to spend vouchers on rng, when you can make the one you need at any time?

I do, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. My rule is that the first copy of a plan I get gets consumed by my crafter. If/when I get copies, those can be sold.

The problem with your idea is that it would collapse a good chunk of ESO's economy. Many of us collect and sell plans to make gold. If the option of creating another copy of a plan we know becomes a reality, the prices would go down.

Not only that, but a lot of zones would become empty of players because we wouldn't need to go farming for plans anymore.

Pretty sure the people in zones right now aren't deliberately farming for plans, for the most part.
Why would you want to spend vouchers on rng, when you can make the one you need at any time?
Why would people want to buy crown crates when they can buy exactly what they want?
If you set the voucher cost of replicating a plan to be higher than the envelope, it might work out.
But even those plans are accessible compared to some plans that randomly drop. Those are the ones that could use some alternate grind to acquire.

You answered your own question. Thats why you can't just use crowns to buy the item you want from the crown crates. You are forced to buy the crown crates to get the gems in order to get the items. Would you be happy with a system that forced you to buy envelopes to deconstruct to get some fragment that you can use to buy the exact plan you want. I doubt it. As far as just being able to buy or construct the plan. How will you determine the method on who has the capability? If it is open to anyone, what's the point of getting the plans?

But that's WHY some people don't like buying Crown Crates. They don't end up getting what they want and would prefer to pay more to get exactly what they want.

As for how to replicate plans -- read the original post?

    Oh, OK.

    No, I doubt it, then.

The one you mention is just purchased with writ vouchers, though?

Eh randomly pulled example. Probably confused everyone.

I just couldn't remember the purple plan I fell over while doing Darkshade Hollow 2. When I looked it up on TTC / MM there were no copies, hardly anyone could give me any MM history, and when someone did it was like 3 million.
Don't think anyone's running around Darkshade Hollow 24/7 looking for it.
Even if you could move it at 5 million your time would be spent more productively farming something else.
