There have been complaints about inconsistent collision on furnishing items and rain being able to pass through furniture without collision, which is a bit immersion breaking.
This change might be part of an attempt to address that.

You shouldn't be able to walk through furniture!...and it -would- be neat if that was still possible... in a different way.Sheezabeast wrote: »I used to love using them as a way to access hidden areas I would make, it added flavor to my houses.
Hey, ZOS!
...how about selling some "secret doors" and such as a pack sometime? Illusionary walls you -can- walk through, rotating walls that are activated by interacting with the torch on them, or sliding bookcases that move when clicked?
Agreed! It would be so refreshing to see ZOS putting more imagination into game elements like housing and outfitting.

OMG FINALLY! it was so stupid to walk through wooden fence...seriously! now if we can fix the crossing through the tapestries im gonna be happy : 3
Agreed.NotaDaedraWorshipper wrote: »Walking through tapestries isn't that weird since you can easily vision it as just brushing it to the side.

If its something like a tapestry or curtain (and don't we wish we had a nice selection of curtains to decotate our indoor-doorways with? From bead curtain to brocade lace...) then it would be neat to keep those without collision, as people can brush them aside.
Maybe for hedges... it would be soooo cool if we had a collision-enabled hedge maze set that you could also buy a non-collision hedge piece for that looks a tiny little bit different (like, blue flowers instead of red ones or something like that) so you can make secret hedge maze passages... (maybe while hiding a small collision enabled piece in it so you have to -jump- through the "illusionary" one)
And definitely the "illusinonary wall piece" you can put behind a bench to hide a doorway... come on ZOS, we -need- secrets in our homes and hideouts!!!
