Anyone moving on?

With this latest “performance” patch has anyone decided to move on from ESO? I am legitimately curious and this is NOT intended to bash or to start hating on ZoS.

I would've moved on long ago, but there aren't any other decent MMOs on console. Some people are into BDO, but it's just not my bag. Bless Unleashed is coming out soon, but I'm pretty skeptical about it and doubt it will rival ESO.

I left the PC because of the Gamepad UI change. I feel disgusted that they would take away accessibility options from people to fix their Crown store ui. how many years have we had it with no issues an they just toss it away and show nothing but contentment for people with disabilities.

Ooo finally a thread I timed right before they've caught it to close! Crazy ole eso. Its a high maintenance partner for sure. I won't take it seriously as far as meta humping and stressing over it with how much has changed. Am looking forward to Cyber Punk! No doubt I'll jump between games to keep the "performance issues/nerfs/whatever the heck they decide to mess around with next" from draining my enjoyment of the game.

It has happened before, many claims to quit the game because of this or that when an update comes along and few actually do.

I am not saying no one quist because of a patch but most that claim to either say it thinking it will make a difference and do not actually quit or they were leaving for other reasons.

No problems experienced since launch, let alone since the last patch. Two accounts, still subscribed. I might yet decide to move on from the forum, but not from the game.

I'll probably take a short break when the FO 76 update/expansion releases in April, but that will largely depend on how interesting it turns out. I'll be back in May for Greymoor for sure.

I have too much time and effort put the game to just "move on". ESO is still amazing for many reasons but it for sure needs more work in the performance department.

Not yet, but after last year I can say I'm about 70% closer. Every new groan of an update draws me closer.

No I will never move on I play other games along side eso but between the horrible lag in cyrodiil and completely butchering my class and not fixing it stamblade and I know magblade suffers as well I did cancel eso plus last year destroying my class was the last straw it’s not even fun anymore to play still playable but not fun and the other classes are just better.

Maybe a bit of SWTOR when a large amount of story content comes out for it but got no plans to leave ESO anytime soon, haven't seen any better alternatives.

Agree.

There is no good MMO right now, ESO is less bad than others.

For my part I will not play until I see a big change, It's the only reason I entered the forum.

ESO+ need a change, 6 years with the same, if it were not for the bag nobody would pay ESO+, for me that is no longer an excuse, I hope that New World does not disappoint me.

the gamepad ui was scalable for those who needed it. If you never manually scaled it then you haven't noticed a difference.

Many I know have moved on....but I really like this game when it works. It's the best game ever made, by a long shot, ......but it essentially never works anymore. PvP is likely broken forever. The only hope for PvP seems to be to play during off peak times, because if any faction is pop locked, cyrodiil is unplayable.

....maybe they should just delete the PvP aspect of the game altogether.....

...but what I think they should do is initiate a complete rebuild of the game from the ground up. What they have here is worth rebuilding. It is that good when things work.

No. I'm still fairly new, and I am having a lot of fun questing, crafting, and building dream homes. I really don't pvp so a lot of the problems there don't effect me. ESO is so full of beautiful places and I haven't even explored half of Tamriel yet. Ask me again in five years though. Lol.

I wanted to PvP today but my guild cancelled the run because our skills didnt fire and it was all like a freak dance show without any skill or LA

Then I tried to go after some 1v1, but I lagged lost 75% of my health, saved my butt but then the other person lagged and just stood there and died

So I dont know what kind of combat is this?

I guess if you never log on, you never have problems with the game. Interesting concept there.

I have no plans to stop playing ESO anytime soon, especially with new content being released for it every year.

And if I were to stop playing it, I would almost certainly come back to play it again at some future time, just as I do with the other Elder Scrolls games.

Not a lot of MMO choices out there. We have been in a gaming drought for a couple of years, and all game quality has suffered.
