"Public Test Servers" should be the place to test said changes, not live, not where it interferes with the masses of their player base.

LOL no. It does not take a petition to provide constructive feedback. Zos had made it clear that is the type of feedback they want and pay attention to.
As someone who does not like the solo queue, we have now I bothered to read that Zos is seeing how this affects the game. An experiment as Alien pointed out above and Zos can only get this information from live as the PS does not have enough activity. As such it really seems it is you that is out of touch.

This thread will be fine if you simply change the word "Petition" to "Request". We do not allow petitions because they don't promote meaningful discussion here on the forums. Usually they devolve pretty quickly to +1 comments. On the other hand, requests, suggestions, and feedback allow for more open, meaningful discourse. Mind making the edit? We'd like to keep this discussion open for you.

For whatever reason my forum account does not have access or the ability to "edit" my previous posts. I don't have the "Edit Post" button on the bottom right, just "Quote / Report", so if you would like to change it your welcome to. Thank you for acknowledging my request.

I don't see how "white knighting" them is going to improve the game, I have heard, read, and experienced this problem myself. This sort of "test" should have never gone live.
