Should this set have magicka recovery instead of stamina recovery?

Clearly this set should be the magicka nightblade go to set were it not for it's stamina recovery where the magicka recovery should be.

Shadow Dancer's Raiment Overland in Greenshade

LEVEL 50 CHAMPION 160

(2 items) Adds 1096 Max Magicka
(3 items) Adds 1096 Max Magicka
(4 items) Adds 129 Spell Damage
(5 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
(5 items) Ignore the Movement Speed penalty of Sneak.
After careful consideration (and oh! so much deliberation) we have concluded that you circumstance sounds too much like a l2p issue for it to be just a mere coincidence.

No because it's geared for nbs
  • IndorilArwynLlethran
Nope. You don't use magicka for sneaking.

    stamina is handy
it used to stack with vampire passive which was fun while it lasted.

Stam recovery is for sneaking... you use stamina when sneaking...

Stamina recovery is disabled when sneaking... Even for stam toon mag recovery would be better.

If something, I would replace the stam recovery with mag recovery, but at the same time I would replace Spell Damage with something both stam & mag can use - max stamina or max heatlh.

Lol I was sure from your thread title that you were going to mention the prisoner's rags set.

Should THIS set have stamina recovery?

    Prisoner's Rags (Light armor)
(2 items) Adds 1096 Max Stamina
(3 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
(4 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
(5 items) Reduces the cost of Sprint by 50%. While Sprinting, restore 1000 Magicka every 1 second.

Stamina recovery is set to 0 while sprinting so this set's 3-4 piece bonuses don't even synergize with its 5 piece bonus.

    Alrighty.

Should one set be changed to justify past and future ZOS balance decisions?

Shadowy disguise would benefit from the magicka recovery for a night blade

Sneaking like blocking drops your recovery fr stam to zero. Worthless bonus

    No.

Doesn't need to be changed to justify anything. the bonus is useless while sneaking as two people have pointed out. that's why it should be changed.

Only while you’re moving in sneak. Holding still allows you to recover your stam while still being hidden, and then you can continue sneaking. So the bonus isn’t completely worthless, as it would allow you to recover your stam faster when you’re stopped.

It’s vastly outdone by Darloc Brae now for that purpose, though.

Yah but combined with Darloc Brae.... And on a night blade....

Could be good, yeah. That 129 is getting multiplied by bonus factors too, right?
