Would you like to see Echatere become the new evolving mounts when it comes to events?

An Echatere is more like a Yak but also more like a bull in many ways as well. Its an unique creature used by Orcs as beasts of burden and also food and possibly even mounts as well. They are an Important Orcish Animal. We have yet to see them add them in as player mounts and they would be perfect actually for those that really love the Orcs and their lore. An Echatere is unique as though its an animal or a mammal it has legs typically seen with an insect. So what are your thoughts should Echatere replace Indriks as the event mount?

No more evolving mounts, that stuff was exhausting from day one. ONE or maybe two echatere mounts would be cool, but none of us want another 7 skinned mount.

I'd like one echatere but I don't think they lend themselves well to a variety of evolutions. They don't seem to be a magical type animal like the indrik is. I am ready for a different sort of mount to take the indrik's place, but not something that's a mundane animal that has no reason to have different elemental aspects or whatnot.

There's no reason the variants have to be magical, though. Could be as simple as differently shaped horns (? bone shields), fur colorations, saddles, etc.

However, I'm not sure Echatere are used as mounts by Orcs. They are more like cows.

No. Echatere is probably the only animal with a more awkward gait than the indrik.
Tbh, there's only 2 kinds of mounts I would bother to "evolve" after the endless indrik permutations: guar and dwemer stuff.

They are like cows but they are also beasts of burden that means more like a donkey, horse. Which seems to be their roles as well. They can and do look like they could be used as a purpose for a mount and beasts used for pulling orcish carriages. I do wish they could have made them mounts already. But they still can make them mounts in some form and I hope one day they do so.

But... they really need to stop with their event mounts and ticket, etc. grinding.

Why is everything always so complicated in this game? Why can't we get a ready-made reward for achievements and events, why are there always pieces of rewards?

Would rather they scrap the whole evolving mount thing, keep the indrik mount available permanently now though since you will have players who have come late and want to collect them all.

If they must put mounts up again put the finished mount up none of this evolving or needing to assemble everything in parts.

For example instead of having all these different re skins of the indrik's come out over time have the lot up in the impressio store for 10 tickets each, if they want it to take longer up the ticket limit players can have and up the cost, so you can store 40 tickets but a mount costs 30 for example.

Agreed. Make event rewards fewer, up the quality of the fewer rewards, and allow us to hold more event tickets for the thing we really want instead of piecemeal.

I don´t like Echateres. Neither I like indriks. Nor I like evolutions. Couldn´t they just give some more "normal" mounts, like horses, guars, senches or even wolves? With variety and the like, not two years of the same mount, different color.

In terms of development, colour changes are almost nothing. Changing a few numbers which represent colours in the code.

Changing a mount's shape in any way - even the things you regard as simple - is much more involved. Both to do and then also test.

There are 10 playable races x 2 genders each with different body shapes and sizes and two races with tails. They've all got to be animated to mount, dismount and ride to look good and not clip with those not so simple horns, saddles etc.

And mounts themselves also have idle, rearing, jumping and riding animations. All of which have to look good and not clip with anything.

Sure...if each mount, when fully evolved, gave us 50 storage slots. (and I mean 50 slots in addition to the 60 slots from evolving the toons mount riding capacity)

I wpuld liek to see a multitude of mounts for different races, like guar, nix ox and yes the echatere too. But not that one alone.

Honestly the spectral indrik is probably the last one I'll be getting and that only because it fits my necro so well. After that, I'm all indriked out.
