ANY support for game controller on mac and which ones work

I've been looking at a few game controllers for mac online however cant seem to find any verification that any of them will work with eso. in the form I've read a few posts from a year or two ago that seem to suggest its not possible or very buggy. I put in a ticket to eso to see if they support any but I do not expect a response. if you are using one with mac catalina Id love to know what you have and how you got it to work.
