This is the first in the craglorn quest line ultimately resulting in being rewarded a nirnhoned item. WTF? You have to tackle 3 overland boss sites just to get started? There shouldn't be ANY quest lines that aren't soloable in their entirety. Garbage like this is what led me to take 3 months away from this money pit in the first place.

That's one of my favourite quests in the game. I actually just ran along with a guildie doing that the other day.

The bosses were nerfed into the ground. If you just look at them sternly, they will die.

Now, for the anomalies, you might need help, but you can probably just ask in zone.

Post some details about your build, and maybe folks can help. You do realize that this quest is marked with a "group" symbol in your journal? Some folks can solo the Magical Anomalies part of this quest, and some folks struggle (a lot).

If you are doing this quest mostly for the nirnhoned item, consider buying the nirncrux from a guild trader, and getting someone to craft you the item. My crafter learned nirnhoned on all armor and weapon, and many were by having someone craft me items for research using my nirncrux.

When he says bosses, I think he means the anomalies. There isn't a mini-boss to kill before these, just stuff to gather up. And I would be surprised to see anyone burn them down solo in 15 seconds. They are perfectly soloable with a sufficiently advanced player, but they aren't super trivial, and if you fail they take a long time to reset so you can't just try again right where you are.
As for the OP: this quest is no longer a required part of the quest line. The quests that are required are much easier to solo.

But if the OP isn't there yet with their character, they simply need to find someone that can group with and help (just like any world boss).

You don't actually have to do any of the group quests to get the nirnhorned item. Sometimes you need to check if the quest has a plus after accepting it since it isn't obvious when talking to the quest giver.

So in case you're thinking of something else, the anomalies have a 300k health crystal, a bunch of smaller adds, and I'm sure that can come down fairly quickly. It then has a 1.8M health air atronach, with a lot of heavies that need to be blocked to avoid cc. That's not dying to anyone I know of solo in 15s. It's perfectly possible to solo but not at that rate.
