I love storm. Don't know why, but I love it so much. However, it seems I have no choice but to use pets for very high dps (unless I'm doing something wrong, which is cool. I don't mind learning). Could you make it possible to have as strong a sorc without pets as it is with pets? I'm strictly talking pve, of course. Thank you.

Thokri✭✭✭✭✭It is possible to have good sorc build without pets. I seen lots of people playing sorc do well without pets while grouping with them.
It just needs you to grind guild and world abilities.

keep dots (specifically dots that deal damage every second or less) and buffs up at all times (especially bound armorments) use elemental weapon as your spammable till overload is ready, light attack zap spam with big dot damage. Dps should be well over 45k with proper rotation.3 -

According to some build content creators, the difference is <4% from 2-pet to no-pet. That difference probably doesn't matter much for 99%+ of gameplay. Plus, pets can be disruptive in content particularly the AOE stun. Here is a build resource:

✭✭✭You can have a good sorc without pets. It won't reach petsorc numbers, but you can use it anywhere. Pets tend to bug out here and there.
As for the build, El Weapons, Curse, Inner Light, Aegis, Frags, Shooting - Race, Unstable, Empowered, Aegis, Lightning Field (or Orb, but you like storms), Wrath of Ele (or Atro, but you wanted no pets).
Fire staves, False God/BSW, Mother's, Zaan. You can use lightning staves and Ilambris for mob fights if you want more lightning, but not in a tough boss fight.
