Blocking Shield animation stays on screen

The Blocking Shield animation never goes away. I'm running around all over with that weird shield image floating in front of me.

Yes, I've had this.
When I block again I even get a new shield overlaying the stuck one

Yeah same. Seems to randomly not disappear sometimes. I block a lot using game pad controller.
