There needs to be skills that all classes can access. These skills either are magica based, stamina based or health based.(Health based like healing, or passives that help heals something)
Every flaw a class has can be addressed with these set of skills. We get to choose them and put them on our bar. The bar is the balancer....

What these skills are is up to ZoS to decide. I have some ideas but I am not stupid. They need to be fleshed out and thought about.

Now all you all have to do is forget that stupid CP system.

Remove that junk and replace it with these skills.

The points will be used to pay for the skills. It can either be two ways...They will either have a flat rate for each skill, or progressively go up the further up the tree one goes. (not saying there will be a skill tree...like i said it still needs to be fleshed out)

The skills will activate certain passives on them when on bar.. (not when slotted and it only affects one side of the bar that is the stupidest thing i've heard of)(that would lead to the same bog down problem the cp system has.. as passives would still be active)

So what I meant to say was...remember how you ripped the hell out of the classes and sets and removed MAJOR buffs... place them into those skills we spend with cp...This way, it calls a common buff. It does most of the same calculations and the buffs only activate on use without having to mesh around with the current cp system.

The skills will not have a special bar that they will be placed on. This allows for the bar to be the balancer.

The skills must be in such a way that if a magica user wants to use a certain skill from the stamina side they should have little resistance. (Like the skill should stack with the highest stat. Nope like i said not a final thing just ideas that have to be fleshed out)

Hell might as well say, the passives should also be like if you have 3 of these skills on this bar you progressively unlock something. Make them pay for bogging down the servers with extra calcs.

You know the whole rest of the game after base game is built upon the CP system...this might be a bad change lol...

However if implemented right...it should be better.

I know I should see lots of people tear this apart I understand that...i am just throwing an idea out there...and it would need lots of fleshing out...

rip it to shreds ladies and gents... i'd like to hear it.

I'd rather retain the CP system, we don't need additional skills. Have very much fewer CP points which give additional abilities/talents that are geared specifically to the defining role of each class, with the CPs being earned by each character according to its class rather than being account-wide.

Alternatively, retain the existing CP system as is except for making it so that characters can only have CP points activated once they hit level 50. That would do a lot to stop people with gazillions of CPs complaining that overland content designed for leveling players is too easy. Tie it in with a system of diminishing experience for repetitive encounters so that you can't level up to 50 in 10 minutes at a dolmen, for example.

None of which has the slightest relevance to performance, of course!

This is how I would fix everything.

    You are welcome! :)

Remove all skills, armor sets and weapons. Have random item boxes drop in fighting areas ( dungeons, trials, PvP, overland ) allow the user to hold 6 item boxes on their bar to use when needed. The boxes contain random skills that you can use to maybe win a fight, but will also randomly contain mudballs that you smash on your face.

I guess while we are at it we can rename the game to "Elder Scrolls Mario Kart Online".

That won't work, you need to have a "surprise mechanic" of some sort or investors will panic!
