Apparently you are playing on a PC or Mac, but on which mega-server does this occur? ZOS cannot investigate the issue without that information. Please refer to the Guidelines For Bug Report Forum for requirements and advice for posting a useful bug report.

Frankly, I do not see an issue. It is difficult to see clearly, but at the start of the video, the number of potions shown in the Quick-slot icon to the left of the Ability Bar appears to be 1. Although, it might be more than that, perhaps 5.

Apparently -- it is difficult to see the digit clearly -- the number of potions shown in the Quick-slot icon became zero after you used the potion (which is what we would expect, of course, if only one was remaining).

How many potions were in that Quick-slot stack before you pressed the Quick-slot keybind? Did you check after the fight to see whether more of that potion was still present in the character's Bags?

For what is worth, the potion also appears to be a Crown Store item. Sometimes -- at least on PC NA -- there are stacking issues with identical Crown items. Sometimes one or more Crown items, such as a potion or a repair kit, fail to stack with other identical items which are already present in the inventory -- particularly when they are not purchased in the same transaction. Also, in my experience, purchased Crown Store items never stack with identical items that were acquired by different means, such as a daily log-in reward.

So, currently, for one of my characters, there are two stacks of the same Crown potion, each of which is identical to the others. However, each respective stack occupies a different position on the Quickslot wheel. When one is exhausted, I must deliberately rotate to the other.

Nonetheless, the number of remaining potions shown in the Quickslot icon has always been the number remaining in the selected stack. So far, I have not seen it show the total number of potions in the respective stacks. But we never know whether that might happen, until and unless it does.

Serves you right for using so much pot! :D
Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

i cant quite see properly but are they the purple crown ones? iirc they dont always stack in your inventory and maybe you had 1 left in that stack and need to quickslot the other stack.

    didnt read aboves comment lol.

The video very clearly shows that the original number was 13.

That said, the crown store item bugging out sounds like the best explanation.

Thank you for the call, I was on PC/EU. I updated the OP.

I don't know why you don't see it clearly, but it's 13 potions until I use one of them, then 0.

I doudble checked, I had no more crown store potions in inventory after that fight, of any kind.

It clearly shows 13 then he uses a pot and it goes to 1 and while on cool-down, it goes to 0.

@reAct0r I know you mention you didn't have any pots left in inventory hut it looks like you could've swapped pot with a hotkey...

Idk, haven't had this issue and it looks weird but worth looking into.

Hm-m, I have seen this thread a few days ago, now I think it happened with me. Stack and a half of tripots gone in a blink.

yes but at the 11 second mark it says you have 12, maybe you where so excited you hit the q more than once, and moved to another quick slot that was empty.

I never get excited in PvE but, apart from that, I double checked after the fight and I had no other potion slots empty.

Kind of like saying I checked after the house was broken in, and the door had been jarred? pretty redundant comment.
The winning comment would of been I checked before the battle and had no empty slots. court adjourned.

It looks like a really weird bug. Also an important one i think, as most people just carry stacks and stacks of pots especially while raiding/dungeoning. I myself always carry like 500 to 1000 potions because i don't want to craft them every day. Wouldn't be cool if i lost all at one cost.

Looks like it went from 13 to 12 upon use, then immediately to 0.

Can you reproduce this without the use of mods? It may have been mis-reading the actual number (maybe you had fewer than was reported). Video capture and try with small stacks (to minimize potential loss). Try a single stack and, if possible, mixed stacks of the same item (I noticed not all Crown items stack properly -- so a stack of 3 and another stack of 4 of the same potion).

Hope this helps to isolate the issue.

@Eiagra I can't reproduce it unfortunately, it only happened once to me.
